Behind the Scenes photoshoot with Purple Melon

For our current issue 5, we had a chance to shoot British band, Purple Melon.  This young pop, rock band has relocated to Los Angeles and taken it by storm.  These spritely lads were fantastic to work with, they kept us laughing, and as you can see from their music video below, they are equally quite talented.  We gave them a different look, suits and ties,  which they showcased beautifully.  They are currently working on a new release (they write their own music) and should have something new soon. I have just settled down to this months Jeanne d'Arc Living January's issue book/magazine; it is so full of inspiration.  I'm thrilled and had to share ..... the articles are for creating not only a Sewing Room but a Home Office too, plus loads of dazzling original  ideas and photographs to study, utilise  and save for later.


There's also a gorgeous French style kitchen, and lots of ways to use all kinds of vintage items in more contemporary settings, and clever ways. You can get this fabulous book from Camel and Yak...just the thing for this weather, so sit in a comfy chair with a cup of hot chocolate, scrummy cake , warm fire and 30 minutes to yourself......
