Burberry Print Isn't Dead Just Yet

A while back, Burberry decided to “retire” the famous plaid. So, instead they pushed belted metallic dresses, hardware-heavy handbags, and a general aesthetic of tough love and it proved to be a huge hit on the runways, in stores, and of course on red carpets.

Just because they've taken a break from the print, doesn't dismiss the fact that it IS their signature print, so they’ve brought it back for Fall ‘09 in the form of these canvas trainers.

So for $250, you can have em. Bring those rainboots back too!

I'll Take That To-Go...

I love it when classics are made current! Burberry took its signature trench and made it as portable as your ipod. The expertly tailored belted trench is easy for weekend trips, or surprise afternoon showers (keep it with your umbrella). And at 350 euros (which is over $400) it can be a great investment piece, and something cute to pass down to the next generation of fashionistas.
