Sesnon Wildfires Crossing Freeway

After having to deal with numerous California Firestorm Mandatory Evacuations, LIFE (human & your pets) are the most important to save when you hit the ground running. Plastic medium to large lidded boxes (with handles) or suitcases are easy accessible & preferable for most of the above. There really is no excuse not to be ready if you live in a fire, flood, earthquake, hurricane, tornado or any disaster red flag zone. BE PREPARED!

Sesnon Wildfires Sparks Raining

This is the second 2008 Southern California Firestorm & we had another Mandatory Evacuation. We were ready to leave with our fur babies if our surrounding property & house caught fire. We did not leave this time. We watered down all the burning embers & saved our home from any harm including looters. The police arrested five thieves in our area.

Sesnon Wildfires House Under Seige

The house & pool are black from soot & we are sick from smoke inhalation, even though we had been wearing breathing safety masks. We're exhausted & depressed by the on going battle against the elements & those horrible people that take advantage of victims by burglarizing their neighborhoods. We have brown & black outs because the DWP lost electrical transformers & the noncompliance with conserving energy during these emergency times.

Southern California Wildfires Helicopter Water Drop

If you hit the ground running the above list(s) are imperative for survival. Especially if it were several days before you could get back to your home or if God forbid you lost everything.

Southern California Wildfires Quebec 1 Fire Retardant Drop

We SALUTE the exhausted FIRE DEPARTMENTS & POLICE DEPARTMENTS that valiantly risked their lives to help save our communities from completely succumbing to devastation.

Southern California Wildfires Smoky Malibu Sunset

If anyone has other suggestions on this topic please leave a comment(s).

Our hearts & prayers go out to those that lost their life, pets, homes & possessions.

GOD BLESS EVERYONE ESPECIALLY OUR HEROIC FIRE FIGHTERS!

My TOP TEN LISTS are my holiday gifts to all!
HOPE EVERYONE HAD A BEAUTIFUL THANKSGIVING

BRIGHT BLESSINGS, HAPPY & SAFE HOLIDAYS,

Erotica Showcase 2008 @ London Olympia

The Annual Exhibition of Erotica once again filled the Olympia Stadium in London, with new and exciting people and products from the world of erotica. From Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd November, the most daring event of the year sent thousands to Olympia in Vauxhall Road, London.

It is the biggest consumer adult lifestyle show in the world and on stage are stimulating live shows ( with me ), in the stadium are art galleries, interesting and unusual seminars take place, and visitors have a chance to do some very unusual shopping.

Some of the artistes who appeared in the live stage show were Missy Malone, the classic burlesque rock chick, Buck Angel, born a woman but transgendered into a man.

Arian Levanael,(thats me) "a wizard with ropes, silks, static trapeze and rings", and Dusty Limits, cabaret singer and comedian. Roxy Velvet (the girl with the props) has to be seen to be believed!

The 3 days and 11 shows went really well! I worked a new routine blindfolded which was a challange I thoroughly enjoyed!

The response I got was amazing and I felt very honoured to be a part of it, and appreciated!

Did You See???

Miss Hilton at the Victoria Secret fashion show, doing what she does best which is.....uhhh...hmmm, posing?!? No I'm kidding, Paris is my girl (and she is not as dumb as u may think). I like this look on her, sequin is really big this season and she is doing it right. But Ms. Thang below...

...with those pantyhose...not opaque tights, or fashionable legwear, but PANTYHOSE that are a horrible shade of off black. And I was really studying this pic to see if I was seeing it correctly because I just can't understand why u would wear off black PANTYHOSE with open toe shoes in Miami. I'm puzzled to say the least. Still my girl Gabi, but just not on that night.

Well if you didn't see, now you do.

A magical day, of old values, warmth, and hands of friendship.....

Nicky makes the most gorgeous soft toys, they are very polite, but they really like cake!!!

Carol had the most beautifully made hearts, and such pretty Gingham Heart cards, lots of lovely hand made pretties

Frances had the most wonderful vintage look, with such pretty vintage Dolly's......
What a wonderful day, (please click on the link 'Vintage Fair' to see all the amazing bloggers that were selling at the fayre). I have just shown a tiny peek of my neighbours beautiful tables, not really doing them justice!! There were so many more stunning tables!!
I must thank Frances for her large (so very useful, saved the day) brown bags...and the fact that she has as many crazy ideas as me!!! and a lovely daughter in law......
and also Carol for being one of the nicest stylish friendliest ladies I could ever wish to meet, plus her lovely family.
In all honesty every person there had a table full of the most wonderful finds, exciting new ideas, different gorgeous items...... you could never, never reproduce the atmosphere, friendship and excitement in the photographs that existed in the hall yesterday.
I want to say a thankyou a BIG thankyou to the wonderful people I met, the customers who said such nice things it made me teary, and so yet so happy. It was a day full of real values, real talent, and real friendship. A day that would never of happened for me without the support of my whole family, and my beloved daughter and wonderful husband.
May we all be blessed with a peaceful and restful week.
Love Lynn xxxxx

Sparks Doesn't Light My Fire

ALL ABOARD!!!!!!!!!! Ms. Jordin Sparks has jump on the train of licensing deals and teamed up with Wetseal (of all stores) to produce a line of pretty sucky dresses. I'm sure she'll make some money from it(not a lot of money, but enough) which is really all that matters right? WRONG! Don't attach your name to wack products people! It weakens your image! Well, take a look at ugly, uglier, and ugliest.

Juliet was born in Accra, Ghana to a Liberian mother and a Lebanese father. She grew up in Ivory Coast and Lebanon simultaneously. But, now lives permanently in Ghana. She owns a beauty salon and is also a Marketing and Advertising student at the University Of Ghana.

Juliet who officially entered the Ghanaian movie industry in 2005, has often said she had waited for the right time to do so. In a recent interview, she indicated that after seeing the movies Mummy's Daughter and Princess Tyra she was motivated into acting.

Following her performance in Crime to Christ, Juliet was rumored to be romantically linked to fellow co-star Majid Michel. She vehemently denied this, citing her friendship to Majid's wife.

protest against racism

on (www.blackstarnews.com) the article reads...
Image Hosting by PictureTrail.com
The horrifying sight which traumatized shoppers and office workers in the centre of Luxembourg City last week has now been labeled as a protest against racism.

The Belgian woman of Congolese origin who set herself alight in the middle of Place d'Armes told witnesses that she was doing it to protest against racism, moments before she carried out the desperate act which has left her in hospital fighting for her life.

Maggy Delvaux-Mufu, a mother of three in her forties, alerted several national newspapers late on Tuesday morning last week that she would be burning herself alive on place des Martyrs at 12.45 am, before setting out accompanied by her husband to walk through the centre of town to her rendezvous.

The police were alerted and officers were deployed to the Rousegärtchen. But the woman changed her plan when she came across a group of journalists gathered to cover an event organized by the ‘Mouvement écologique' on Place d'Armes, opposite the Cercle municipal. She soaked herself in petrol before confronting the members of the press, announcing that she was about to sacrifice her life to protest against racism.

Moments later, she struck a match, turning herself into a human torch in front of hundreds of people. Delvaux-Mufu' s husband and passers-by jumped on the burning body, attempting to stifle the flames with coats and jackets. The scene made several people feel unwell and many witnesses who filled the square at lunchtime were traumatized by the woman's shrieking screams of unimaginable pain. The flames were already extinguished when police, rescue services and the fire
brigade arrived at the scene.

One person is reported to have vomited after seeing the woman being transported into an ambulance. The events in Place d'Armes have also started a controversy regarding the authorities' lack of psychological support for witnesses.

Delvaux-Mufu was taken to the Bon Secours hospital in Metz, where she is being treated in a specialized ward for burns and is fighting for her life. Grand Duchess Maria Teresa visited the woman and her family at the hospital last week.
RTL television was the first to run a news flash about the incident on its website on Tuesday afternoon last week. 352 reported the bulletin in its news in brief section, shortly before going to print. Events preceding the incident only came to light later on in the week.

The End Has Come...

No not for LivLux, lol. You got scared, huh? Well we're not going anywhere anytime soon. But the end has come for Cycle 11 of America's Next Top Model.

This Wednesday is the final episode and even though I've been slacking on the updates, I've been keeping track of the show as best as possible. I was very disappointed in the judges last week for sending Marjorie home. It's OK girl! You gone make it somewhere with yo timid a**! Lol... Well anyways, set you clocks for for 8:00p.m. Wednesday (7:00 Central) and be checking back on LivLux, because we will most definitely be having an ANTM Report on the lucky girl.

Like Doni always says, "Be Positive."
