OMG!!! Jonas Brothers R N New Britain Stadium

American pop singers The Jonas Brothers, featuring Kevin, Joe and Nick, came and conquered at the New Britain Rock Cats New Britain Stadium Friday. And it wasn't with music but with a bat and ball and a message.
The famed siblings, who were scheduled to perform later Friday at Comcast Theater, arrived in the Hardware City at about 11:30 a.m. and were greeted by Rock Cats president and CEO Bill Dowling. Dowling (pictured with the boys before the game began) admitted he needed a refresher course on the  Disney-created singing sensations, but made sure they had no doubt they were welcome. 
Once they walked onto the field it was organized mayhem as stands full of thousands of hysterical 'tweens and young teens put their hearts on their sleeves for the singing siblings.
"We want them to marry us," exclaimed Portland 15-year-old Kelly Coleman, who along
with friends Erin Bials and Alyssa Feldman, dressed up in bridal veils to attract  the attention of Nick, Joe and Kevin. "We just love them." Too bad Kevin is already married, and Joe is reportedly involved with Ashley Green, which means that leaves just Nick up for grabs.
Joe, by the way, turns the big 2-1 on Sunday so what are his plans as far as a celebration?
"I don't know yet , they won't tell me," he said smiling as he and his brothers walked into the stadium with a New Britain police escort.
And presents?
"I can't tell anyone what we got him," said Nick as he prepared for an onslaught of media microphones and cameras. "We don't want him to find out until Sunday."

The three, and their Jonas Brothers Road Dogs team faced ESPN's  G.O.A.T.S. (Greatest of All Time) team in the softball showdown. Besides collecting donations for the Connecticut Children's Medical Center, the event also served as a promotion for AllState's "X the TXT" campaign to raise awareness about the danger of texting and driving.
While the JoBros were confident about their game (although dad Kevin admitted the team has had a bit of a rocky showing in its last couple of games) the sports giant ESPN team had some concerns. 
"My baseball glove is older than they are," said Dave Stevens, an  ESPN assignment desk manager and former minor league player.
Seeming to stretch out for an inordinate amount of time before the game was ESPN personality Erik Kuselias.
"I just don't want to get hurt," he said. "They're young kids."
