Nick Jonas is set to guest star as a pop singer on the new ABC series
Mr. Sunshine, starring Matthew Perry, reports USA TODAY'S Cindy Clark.Jonas will play Eli White, an up-and-coming singer who wants everything his way before he performs at the Sunshine Center. Perry plays Ben, who runs the Sunshine Center, a landmark sports arena in San Diego. Ben finds himself scrambling to do everything he can to attend to the needy singer in the hopes that he'll keep his commitment to perform at the sold-out show. The series also stars Allison Janney, Andrea Anders, James Lesure and Nate Torrence. A premiere date has not been set.
