Did You See?

Last nights Oscars was surprisingly entertaining. I guess they got the memo that award shows are getting boring and we the people could care less now-a-days. But the way the awards were presented, the set, and the host were all very entertaining. Ok, enough about that...on to the clothes. To me there were a few hits, and few ok's, and a lot of misses. Miley Cyrus looked very well put together in Zuhair Murad...although it's reminiscent of fish scales, she'd be the prettiest fish in the sea.



Ms. Poised and Pretty Anne Hathaway sparkled and shined in Armani Prive'. She went the safe route, which I admire, because it's just too easy to get it wrong these days.



And last AND least...Mrs. Hov. Instead of going with her normal choice of Ellie Saab...she decided to wear one of her own designs from House of Dereon. (Sigh). I mean I love the shape and fit of the gown...but that large of a print just screams old lady living room curtains. Better luck next time B. Still love ya though.

Isn't it Ironic???

Since I watched The Devil Wears Prada two days in a row and picked up the latest Vogue a few days ago, I just thought it was kinda ironic for Anne Hathaway to be on the cover when she starred in the movie that slashed Anna Wintour's character. Maybe this was Anna's way of saying "no hard feelings" or maybe it's a part of her anger management course to forgive and forget, lol. The beef is probably just with Lauren...the author of the book. It would be so childish of Anna to not like Anne for just doing her job.

IDK just a thought.

Did You See??? Pt. 2

Sorry, but when I saw this girl I had to do another "Did You See"...



Miss Anne Hathaway looked awesome at the Los Angeles premiere of Rachel Getting Married at the Writer’s Guild Theater in Beverly Hills last week. Anne went with a cocktail dress from Oscar de la Renta's Resort 2009 collection. Her shoes; 100% Louboutin. I would say that this was the doing of Hathaway's new stylist, Rachel Zoe. Thanks girl! Lol...

Did You See???

Now usually when we do 'Did You See???' it's only one person, but I had to switch things up this time. There were 5 lovely ladies that caught my style eye this night and they all deserve to be recognized. Sarah Jessica Parker, Lindsay Lohan, Anne Hathaway, Liv Tyler and Paris Hilton all looked awesome at the MTV Movie Awards 2008. My girl SJP decided to take a risk with this high-neck, sparkling dress(Love the purse!). Lindsey took a step out on fashion faith as well with this violet Dolce & Gabbana dress that sat right below her butt(No tan today?!). Anne worked the bad girl look with this asymmetrical dress by Sophia Kokosalaki(her hair was hott!). Liv Tyler gave us summertime all day with this hot pink Lanvin. Last but not least is Hilton the heiress, who rocked this black and white satin & lace dress. They all looked great but I think I would have to give BEST-DRESSED to....(drumroll please)
