For Regard Magazine Issue 6, we featured two fabulous designers, Adolfo Sanchez and Daisy Gonzalez.  We wanted to give you a look at the amazing fashion boutique that gives you access to these terrific designs.  La Maison De Fashion is a style house and brand marketing boutique and online store that features some of LA's top designers.  They specialize in the promotion of top designers, luxury fashion and lifestyle branding.  We talked to co-owner, Angelina Pitt, to find out how she helps the designers get their looks out to the masses....

On Trend with REGARD Magazine ....Fantastic Floral

Wearing flowers can be tricky. Here are a few tricks for navigating this blooming trend.

The size of the floral print should reflect the stature of the person wearing it. If you are tall or plus size, be sure your flowery print is bold.

Choose floral in modern colors and fabric. If a print looks like it would fit in with your grandmother’s sweater collection, find a more abstract print. This will up the chic factor.

The new issue of REGARD Magazine is just around the corner!  I’m so excited and can’t wait, but in the meantime, I’ve been inspired by all things Sequin.  I’m in love with sparkle.  Sparkle for day is a majorly trending style right now.  Give your outfit a little sparkle. On Trend with REGARD Magazine ... Ruffle Me This..

Tia Mowry   graced the cover of this month’s issue to rave reviews.  She looks amazing in some ruffled dresses (by Tiffany Fitzgerald)  which fit her like a glove. I love ruffles. They are flirty and fun and can be a great feminine detail. They must be worn strategically, however, because too many ruffles and you can wind up looking like  Liberace. The idea is to wear them sparingly to accentuate a positive feature. 

• If you have a beautiful collarbone, a jacket with a ruffle at the collar will highlight your    graceful neck. 

• If you have a small to medium size chest, a ruffle will become a focal feature, and create the illusion of a more bountiful bust.
  
• If you are more top heavy, balance your top half with a ruffled skirt. 

Fun accessories and accoutrements will add extra chic and personality. Give it a try!
