Hmmmm...

People are wasting no time documenting every aspect of the Obama's time in office. Everyone has been raving over Michelle's amazing style, so Mandi Norwood penned Michelle Style, Celebrating the first lady of style. I love the concept and all and I'm sure I will love the book...but Mrs. Obama still has over 3 1/2 years in office! I know the best is yet to come from her so I think Mandi may have jumped the gun. Regardless we can't deny that Michelle gives us all style inspiration, so it wouldn't hurt to add this book to your library.

Michelle for March: The Good, Bad & Ugly

The Good: Michelle has been only the second 1st Lady in history to pose on the cover of Vogue - next to Hilary.

The Bad: She's not giving me what I need. I see "Hey, look at me in the White House...and where are you??"

The Ugly: I mean, c'mon...look at that mug. Yesssssssssss....

Mrs. 1st Lady Could've Done Better

So I know all you fashonista's have been keeping an eye on Michelle Obama's wardrobe lately. Well me too, and I have to say I was NOT impressed with the silk chiffon dress that was embellished with Swarovski crystals by designer Jason Wu. Obviously, the dress had to be one-of-the-kind when dealing with a lady of this caliber. I just think that the dress is not flattering when it comes to Michelle's shape. I was really shocked when I found out that it was designed by Wu, seeing as though I have always been a fan of most of his collections. I also wonder why she chose Wu out of all the other designers that were begging to dress Michelle for this significant night. The world will never know...
