Estelle Hosts Rachel's Fashion Night Out

Fashion's Night Out is planned to be a HUGE night in NYC, and designer Rachel Roy is making sure her pop-up shop doesn't get lost in the chaos. She's called on her personal friend Estelle to host the party, Lady Bunny is in charge of the sounds, and Keyshia Cole will be making an appearance. Talk about star studded shopping, I would've been happy just to see Rachel, lol.

September 10th is definitely not the night to sit in and watch a movie. Go out and SHOP!

Fashion Week Jump off

Fall Fashion week is well underway and honestly I'm really not interested in seeing the spring collections yet because I'm still too excited to get into my fall looks! But there are some looks worth talking about. First of all, Rachel Roy (my home girl), really put her foot into this collection. She gave me volume, drapery, and a neutral color palette that is true to the elegant tradition of her line but still young and fresh. Loves it! Trovata also gave me some interesting looks with nerdy chic, and easy to wear pieces that I know will be displayed in Nylon in a heartbeat.

Why I ♥ Rachel Roy

Rachel Roy has to be one of THEE classiest designers in the world! Ever since she stepped into the scene by launching her own eponymous fashion collection she has taken my breath away with every one of her collections. With her modern designs, I say that Roy is one of the few who doesn't need her clothes to be loud for people to hear them. I could, literally, look at all of her collections over and over and over again. I would say my favorite pieces from her Spring '08 collection would be the Liz trench and the yellow Alene dress. Gorgeous! If only I would've gotten to her before Dash. D^%$ you Damon!!
