I love rompers for summer, but a good jumper can do triple duty three seasons of the year. Dressed up or down, they can be extremely versatile, and wildly comfortable.

A dear model friend of mine, with amazing personal style, went to an event and sent me a few random photos. I love the simplicity of a one piece jumpsuit, as long as the proportions are right, and here, she’s spot on. 

Minimal but strategic jewelry keeps her outfit sweet, while the leopard belt is visually interesting and highlights her impossibly small waist. Nude shoes extend the leg line, making them appear miles long. A perfect outfit for a perfect night to dance the night away.

On Trend with REGARD Magazine .... Street Style

A few weeks ago I snapped a few street pictures around San Francisco. This is one of my favorites. This young lady owned a Men’s boutique I happened to step into. I loved her sweater and the urban styling she brought to a classic color combination: red, black and white. She looked comfortable in her basic Converse, basic jeans, and simple black t- shirt, but the eye catching college letterman inspired sweater was a great focal piece. Super cute!

On Trend with REGARD Magazine .... Renaissance Style

Best known for his work during The Harlem Renaissance period, Langston Hughes wasn’t only a playwright, novelist, and activist, he was also an incredibly chic man with an amazing sense of self and style. Surprisingly, a man who lived and thrived during the height of the New Jazz Movement of the late 1930’s and early 1940’s was astonishingly modern.  In honor of Black History Month: How to dress like Langston Hughes, with a fresh perspective.
