EMU Fashion Week - The Call To The Wild
As "New Yawk" winds down from Fashion Week, a smaller but still just as powerful to college students, especially those close to or at Eastern Michigan University. EMU's Fashionality will be presenting its’ Second Annual Fashion Week September 21-25, 2009, and they are inviting YOU to be their special guest.
Fashionality was started by a group of talented and hardworking students who wanted to push forth the vision of Emanuel Upshaw III. While obsessing over New York Fashion Week, Upshaw began to yearn for a replica program of his own. He wanted to bring the same intensity and chaos of New York Fashion Week to Ypsilanti, MI.
The Fashion Week at Eastern Michigan University 2009 staff has worked diligently in planning their Second Annual event-filled week, and are expected to make it bigger and better than the year before. With a theme of “The Call to the Wild”, the staff has a lot to live up to. This year, it is expected to have over 700 guests from many different races and ethnicities attending the fashion show. The fashion show will have a grand opening with “Coming to America” themed choreography and costumes. The Second Annual Fashion Week at Eastern Michigan University 2009 program is as follows:
Monday, September 21 - Aid’s Benefit Concert in the Grand Ballroom at EMU’s Student Center from 8pm to 10pm
Tuesday, September 22 - Supermodel Survival in the Grand Ballroom at EMU’s Student Center from 8pm to 10pm
