Collecting USA Beatles Concert Tickets during the past few years has taken off. Beatles tickets are continuing their climb in value based on scarcity, high demand & especially true for near mint to mint condition unused examples of certain shows. Investments in these tickets range from a few hundred dollars to several hundred dollars. Some auction houses have even sold Beatles mint complete unused tickets in the thousands of dollars.
It is difficult to find full tickets from any of the Beatles 1964 or 1965 shows as most of those concerts were completely sold out. In 1966 amid controversy, the Beatles played huge sports arenas for the most part & although they were successful, not all sold out leaving full tickets for Beatles collectors to enjoy decades later in their unused glory. The Beatles sold more than one million tickets for their live USA appearances.
Most Beatles tickets are priced & evaluated separately & as with all collectibles condition is very important. Folds, stains, tears & any writing reduces the value & usually lowers the desirability of any ticket. Stubs are worth a fraction of the value of the same full ticket, but even that varies depending on the remaining portion & what information or pictures can be seen.
Beatles Concert Tickets unlike massed produced commercial products were only available regionally & in most cases are somewhat difficult to find. The printing of the tickets themselves was a fairly complex process that sometimes required many passes through various printing presses. Ticket manufacturers like Globe used to require at least 2 weeks to complete a print job. If the promoter were presenting more than one show by the Beatles another batch of tickets would be printed in the same way but with a different date or time & some form of distinct marking to assist in recognizing it as a ticket for the other performance.
There are no known complete Beatles ticket sets in collectors hands even if you count stubs! With over 500 different ticket variations issued in the USA even the most advanced collectors have barely put a dent into having them all. Some have focused on collecting just one ticket or stub per show cutting the required variations to 73. Others concentrate on certain years or venues.
Ticket collecting & demand will continue to grow especially while it is still possible to find some nice mint unused tickets. There are still several cities in which no known full unused tickets have turned up although the list is shrinking as several previously undiscovered tickets turned up in the late 1990s. Promoters of these Beatles Concerts had held onto unsold tickets & in the 1990s offered them for sale.

SUFFOLK DOWNS 1966 CONCERT TICKET INFORMATION
Unused tickets for this show exists due to the fact that Suffolk Downs is a horse racetrack & large portions on either side of the 25,000 center seating area were cordoned off & not intended to be sold. The printer however, made tickets for all of the seats. This is an unusual case where there were a large quantity of full tickets available from a 'SOLD OUT' show. In 1984 a box of these tickets were discovered in Gerald Robert's (Beatles Concert Producer) attic in his Massachusetts home which was in the process of being sold.

Fellas! I was very inspired by the outstanding dressing of Jayson Blair, in this month’s issue of REGARD Magazine, looking so cool in his layered looks by super chic label,In Add Minus. Layering is an element of dressing that, if you master, you will always appear well dressed, even if you prefer to shop at the Goodwill.
For example, here we take a basic pair of cargo pants, and show two totally different casual outfits. One more rugged, perfect for spending a chilly day outdoors, and one more dressy, suitable for a Saturday morning brunch date. Layering is also a great way stay ahead of the weather, making it easy to remove a layer, but retain warmth. Layering is a valuable skill to learn to so get started! Have fun with this!
For our 6th issue, we were lucky enough to get the fabulous, Tia Mowry for an editorial and cover shoot. This seasoned actor was amazing as a model and made our job easy and really fun. Tia has an infectious laugh that had us all following suit. Check out the action with this behind the scenes look.
I love to eat! So imagine how excited I was to discover private chef to the starsSasha Pearl-Raver was going be in the magazine this month. She’s an amazing beauty and makes beautiful plates for some of the coolest and wealthiest people in Los Angeles. The Dalia MacPhee dresses she wears in the pictorial are stunning, and it was really cool to see the short teal frock paired with hot red booties.
I love blue and red together, but it’s a tricky color combination. While there’s nothing wrong with patriotism very easily, one could look like the American flag on the Fourth of July. To avoid looking like our beloved star spangled banner, here are a few ideas to keep your outfit chic, and not band geek.
1. Use colors to add depth and freshness to an otherwise two color outfit. Here, I’ve added a white cropped sweater with multicolored hearts, and added a mint colored belt.
2. Add neutrals to break up the primary color frenzy. In this outfit, the wide leg trouser khaki trouser and tan suede clutch make the blending of red and blue really sophisticated.
3. Mix prints to create texture. In this last outfit, I’ve paired a printed tunic with turquoise jewelry and an ethnic, beaded clutch. These elements add complexity to a simple tunic and jeans.
This color combo is really cool and can be very stylish. Give it a try! Enjoy!
One of my favorite new designers, Daisy Gonzalez, has an amazing spread featuring the lovely Brittany Binger in this month’s issue. Her dresses are so pretty, and have a lot of attitude.
My favorite dress from her photo shoot was the Blue Tulle dress, and since the ballerina theme was such a big movement for spring 2011, this dress is right on trend. I love this trend! It brings my childhood dream of being a principal prima ballerina to life! Tulle has made a comeback from the 80’s and Madonna’s “Material Girl” video, and it’s here to stay. Inspired by tutu’s everywhere, here are a few more “tulle” dress outfits. Cute!
This month, REGARD Magazine featured Josh Altman, a young, successful Real Estate Broker with impeccable style. He’s the new kid onBravo’s “Million Dollar Listing”, and always looks classic and well put together, even relaxing about town. Inspired by his million dollar style, here are a few tips to help you look like a million bucks.
1. You MUST have two suits: one classic black that can be office or special occasion, and one of your choice. A grey suit in a 3 season fabric is a great option.
2. Fit is EVERYTHING. Make friends with a tailor and take care in the fitting of your suit and shirt. You should be able to comfortably fit a finger between your throat and your collar. Any more than that and you’ll look like David Spade. The shoulder seams should fit squarely, but not tightly to your shoulder and the torso should touch your torso. No
blousing.
3. Pay attention to the details. One key component to looking “rich” is to make sure your accessories are cool, and different, but classic. Don’t be afraid to mix patterns, and wear something special like a rock & roll pair of skull cuff links, or 3 toned oxfords. This will keep your classic look cool
Lastly, don’t be afraid to try something new.... Enjoy!
Today a blanket of dense cold cloud rests heavy over the fields. All the landscape looks fragmented, bleak, flattened by Winters cleansing.
Winters season has reflected itself into my life over various years, cleansing and shredding away, offering harsh insights, its cold honest light in its frightening simplicity can offer many new paths to walk.
Bride the Goddess at Imbolc (February 2nd) offers us new beginnings, a new insight, Spring Growth and a new light, but it is only now weeks later that I begin to see her growing light and feel her energy whispering fine threads of promise, to feel her insights edging, pushing through the fragments of Winter.
