Mens Fashion In The Summer

Summer is here, and while this means for the graduates preparation for college, it also means it’s good time to spend that open-house money, because lets be honest, fashion beats education any day! But what to do, and where to go? One mustn't look overly dressed during summer, because we all think of summer as being leisure time, so, with this article I hope to give you some insight, but not to completely convert you from your rut, more of a rejuvenation in your wardrobe!

You want to make sure you have yourself a white dress shirt, not an oxford button up, leave that for our President, so assuming you have acquired a white dress shirt we can proceed and spice everything up! You’re going to definitely want to pickup a cardigan with a light hue, nothing with too much volume, in less you’re an old hairy man that’s going out with a bang. However, you should experiment, yellow in summer time and forest green look great, black and navy are a no go.

White! Take advantage of summer and grab a stripped white blazer, white pants, and you have yourself a sexy yet refined look that screams HOT! For your white blazer I like cotton and linen for material, and this is most true for white pants, ensure they are a light material. Try Perry Ellis, they are not only cheap, but when it comes to summer do a absolutely splendid job at making the vox populi in the fashion world look stunning. You just can’t go wrong.

These are just a few tips, if you have want or have any questions please shoot them our way, we are glad to help. Enjoy your summer, and congrats to my fellow graduates, now go look fabulous!

My Summer Wish List

I plan to make Summer 08 one of the BEST summer's I've had so far. I am now officially done with high school, I turn 18 in a couple weeks and I am doing some major traveling with Liv Lux. Well we all know that means that a new wardrobe is needed, right? So here are a few pieces that I want to be included in my Summer 08 wardrobe.

Let's start off with this twill two-button blazer from Banana Republic. I loved blazers last summer but I never owned a white one. Well now is the time. Retail price: $178.00

Next on the list is this Fossil Perry Leather Duffel Bag. I feel as though now that I'm growing up, my taste in more mature things should show. That, and I'm kind of tired of carrying my AE bag, lol. I would remove the strap and just use the handles. Retail Price: $198.00

I need a color. I guess sky blue will be my color this season because I love this surfboard blue 1MX shirt. I love this fact that you could go either way with this; jeans or slacks. Retail price: $29.99

For a while now I have tried to make Acqua di Gio Pour Homme by Giorgio Armani my signature scent but I'm getting tired of smelling like "the fresh sea, warm sun and the richness of the earth that creates a masculine scent that is both fresh and sensual." So my new scent for the season is Jean Paul Gaultier "LE MALE". My granddad uses it and now I feel it's time to pass it on, lol. Retail Price: $70.00

Now we all know that the trend this season for footwear is gladiator sandals. Well who wants to be out of the trend?? Not me! So that's why these gladiator sandals by Kurt Geiger will be apart of my summer wardrobe. Here's a visual of them on..

Can someone say hotness?! I can wait until I order mine!!!

OK, so I think I've given you all enough..trust me, if I could I could go on for days! But I'm not going to torture you all like that, lol. Leave a comment and tell me what you think. Any additions, subtractions??

Summer Shades

We all know that the trend last summer was the designer shades. Everyone from DKNY to Lagerfeld had a pair in their collection. And here we are to another year with the same style. I can already see people getting excited about pulling out their $300 designer shades before June 20th or 21st hit(First day of Summer depending on your location). I honestly don't see myself paying a car note on shades. They just aren't all their cracked up to be. I understand that everything's in the name when it comes to these but I would rather get me some nice, trendy pair of shades from the local store. Not to knock any high-end designer reading this(I wish!) but I just don't see any reason for them. They ALL look nice and everything but I think mine look pretty nice too, don't you think?

Only $5!! Lol! Watch out Tom Ford 'cause I'm coming for you!!
