Natalie Portman in the New V Magazine

Natalie Portman looks AMAZING in the new issue of V Magazine. She brought our her inner supermodel for the magazine known for its sexy fashion edge. Everything from the colors, make-up, gorgeous clothes, and the intensity she served up made this a winner with all the glossy lovers.
According to Highsnobette, to go along with the release of this issue V commissioned Stephen Smith to create a stop-motion video to capture the essence of Chanel, a look that Portman wears on the cover. Take a look...

V Magazine Shows A "Little" Skin

In my eyes, V Magazine really goes by the motto "Sex Sells". If you've paid attention to the issues over the years, the spreads are always sexy and seductive. Nothing is wrong with that. So you know with their first ever Swimsuit issue looking like a "couture style version of a playboy porno mag". Oh, and with Mario Testino behind the lens and six of the sexiest supermodels of today, you knew it was bound to push the limits.

Cameron, Who?

Photography: Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott
Styling: Panos Yiapanis
Makeup: Lucia Pieroni (Streeters)
Hair: Luigi Murenu for John Frieda (Streeters)

Cameron Diaz covers and shoots a spread for the July/ August issue of V. She gets real sexy this go 'round. I almost couldn't tell it was her, from first glance.

A few facts about the shoot - The corset she's wearing is made of gaffer tape. Her tattoos are NOT real and were painted on just for the occasion by Darryl Gates of Diamond Jacks Tattoo Parlour.

And contrary to popular belief Diaz was not channeling Gwen Stefani, but getting inspiration from Madonna’s True Blue era.

We Have A Winner!

After a long, grueling process and about six thousand applications later, Ford Models and V Magazine’s V A Model Search contest has come to a close and they have selected a winner. Lea Groesland from Norway is the lucky lady who will be able to converse with Siri Tollerød in her own tongue, lol. If Groesland's career goes somewhat similar to previous winner Amanda Laine’s (she booked Prada, Marni, and Balenciaga her first season out), Lea will be a household name by October 2009. Keep an eye open for her!

Queen Nay Nay Isn't Going Anywhere!

You ever heard the saying, "You can't hold a good women down for long?" No? Me neither, lol. Well now you have! This now is the quote I think of every time I see Naomi in a magazine or on another runway. In this months issue of V Magazine Campbell had a spread entitled "The Empire Strikes Back" and looked DAMN good, If I may say so.

2 LL thumbs up are given to photographer, Mario Sorrenti who shot the entire spread and caught all the right angles of Naomi(like there are any wrong ones!). Props are also due to stylist, Jane How. Her wardrobe was all black and included crazy shapes of the new fall season and a lot of bold silhouettes. The pictures were taken in black and white which made the look that much more impressive. Naomi Campbell has one of the best bone structure that I've seen photographed. She demands attention with every picture and even when she's not looking at you, you can feel her. That's how you know she was born to do this and won't be taking a seat anytime soon.

Here are a few more pictures from the spread. ♥ it.
