U.S Magazine Unzipped

Show in Madrid

On the weekend I was invited to go to Madrid as the next part of the Push Extreme Tour to perform at a club called COOL.



It was a really successful night, the club was really crowded and my show was recieved really well. I was happy with the show in general and the response I got was amazing.



So, its always nice to be appreciated!



I hope to go back there sometime and spend some more time in Madrid and learn some Spanish!

Hearts for friendship......

I am so thrilled to be able to share these wonderful , beautiful, Valentines hearts with you all.

I was so lucky and excited, big smile to have my name drawn by Anne's (Hennas Blog) little boy in her recent lottery. Today I received my wonderful gift, a gorgeous large padded vintage style heart, together with a box of heart chocolates yummy, scrummy, and the sweetest tub of butterfly seeds, just waiting to be planted.

Anne called this heart the 'Heart of Friendship' and I feel very privileged to have this lovely gift, but more so to have Anne as a friend. Thankyou Anne xxx

I was also thrilled to have purchased from another friend Katie at Home Keeping Hearts, some of her stunning heart tags, to hang around the house tommorow,( I shan't be able to take them down) these are two sided,and look so pretty. Thankyou dear talented Katie.xx

I have found my perfect house.......

My house of dreams......

I have always loved the slow dusty decay of ancient textiles and furnishings. The softening of texture, and the gentle hues that are revealed, as rents and tears magically adjust a fabric to it's present form. Like the landscape in winter it's bare bones are exposed and there is a vulnerability to it, a delicacy.

These photo's are taken from the current 'World of Interiors' magazine, it is 'The House of Eliot' which is in Cornwall.

It is how I would like to imagine 'Manderley' might have looked, if it had never come under the flame.

If I am lucky I may dream I am walking its dusty floors in my dreams tonight..........

Show in Rome

On sat night I was invited to go perform aerial ring in Rome at a night called 'Gorgeous I am' at a huge club - Alpheus - as part of the PUSH (x)treme Tour. PUSH is run by Marco da Silva (superstud choreographer extraordinaire and Dj on the night) and very handsome local Italian Dj Phil Romano.



It was a great night and the show went really well. I managed to catch up with some friends in Rome and make some new ones as well!








I Visited some temples and did all the sites. Was great and I felt very welcomed.

BEWITCHING LOVE POTIONS & ENCHANTING BREWS

* THE LOVE POTION *

Try some home brewed Bewitching Potions & Enchanting Brews to conjure up a little romance this coming Valentine's Day.

A little Witchcraft or Sorcery can put a spark of magick into your relationship. This ancient art utilizes the powers of nature & the mind to bring about a desired effect. Specific combinations of natural elements draw specific energies. One can tap these energies by stimulating the senses to induce altered states of consciousness that intensify moods & feelings.

* BEWITCHING LOVE POTION #9 *
In a small pot, simmer:
HALF CUP OF JOJOBA OIL & moving your spoon clockwise, stir in 9 drops each of the following essential oils:
AMBERGRIS
CINNAMON
FRANKINCENSE
JASMINE
LAVENDER
MUSK
ORANGE BLOSSOM
ROSE
VIOLET
YLANG YLANG
Let cool & store in a dark glass container. Dab yourself with it as you would your favorite perfume before a night out, or a night in to drive your loved one wild with desire.


* ENCHANTING BREW *
Pour one quart of RED WINE or GRAPE JUICE in a non-reactive pot & warm to a near simmer.
In a doubled piece of cheesecloth place one teaspoon each of:
ROSE PETALS
GINGER
CLOVES
ONE wedge of ORANGE PEEL
ONE piece of FRESH GINGER
TWO CINNAMON STICKS
Gather & tie the bundle tightly with butcher's string & place it in the liquid to steep. Taste the brew every few minutes until the flavors have been infused, but remove the bundle before they become overpowering. Chill if desired. Share a glass with your loved one & toast to an enchanting evening.

Bit of a test shoot for some aerial shots.....

Now I know spring is round the corner..

I know it must be coming because of the lovely card Marja has made herself for me, thankyou so much my dear friendxxxx and thankyou too for my gorgeous tags.

I have been embroidering some new cushions. The blue one is cashmere wool, that I have embroidered with vintage silks and silk netting, the birds and branches are made from very very soft leather that I have dyed in bronze and dove grey, I have backed it with bronze satin to show through the cut work.

Because it is so cold I have also made a snuggly fabric fur cushion, with padded velvet appliques in icy blues, so they look like snow flowers, the leaves are made from soft ruffles, it's lovely to touch and snuggle into.
