Nick Jonas says he's 'emotional' at the end of his London theatre run.
The Jonas brother took to the stage at the 02 last night (3 October) in the 25th anniversary performance of the musical Les Miserables, alongside Little Britain's Matt Lucas. The Jonas brother had spent the summer performing in the show at the Queen's Theatre and his brothers Joe and Kevin flew over to see his final performance.
'Joyful goodbye' Jonas admitted he was sad his time in London was coming to an end:
"It is a bit emotional I've met a lot of friends at the Queen's theatre who are here tonight.
"I'm not sure when I'll see them next but it's a joyful goodbye, it's special we're here tonight and had this experience."
The teen star has been linked to his Les Mis co-star Samantha Barks. She was alongside him at the party after last night's performance.
Jonas also admitted he'd loving working alongside Little Britain's Matt Lucas:
"He's a great guy, it was a pleasure having him around and laughing with him."
He has been mobbed by fans as he left the Queen's Theatre this summer but he says he's loved the welcome he's had:
"The fans here are incredible and the fans of this show are amazing."
'Learning experience'
Jonas had appeared in the musical in the States when he was ten but after years of performing in a band with his brothers he admits he found it hard changing his voice to fit the musical stage:
"It was a learning experience, I really had to do my best to bring out my best theatre voice."
He now has two weeks off before he and his brothers head off to South America on tour:
"They were here tonight to support me, my whole family was actually. It's good to have them here, it's always important to have family support you."
The 25th anniversary performance of Les Miserables was shown in more than 100 cinemas around the world and it was filmed to be released on DVD.
