You can mix print for work, just make sure the print or pattern is work appropriate. Here, I’ve taken an abstract polka dot blouse and paired it with a bold plaid wool trousers. This works because the blouse has grey and black in its colour scheme, and the slack are grey and black. This simple color combination suddenly becomes cool when you mix these prints and add cool accessories like a pair of pink skull flats.

Stripes and flowers are great together when done in a similar colour tone. Then add an oversized boyfriend cardigan to anchor the look. Adding a bag with a pop of colour is always a must and gives a visually interesting, yet muted colour palette a little life.
