Item of the Day- D&G Watch

Today's item of the day is for the fellas! This stainless steel and leather D&G Dolce and Gabanna watch is a classic accessory that should be on every man's night stand or armoire (where ever you guys keep your stuff). This paticular shade of brown is beautiful; the tone will allow it to be noticed without being gaudy and it will go with just about anything.

So of course this is D&G, not Timex, so the price is a little more than you'd spend on a watch at random. But the investment is well worth it...I mean, it's D&G and it's even waterproof! If your looking for a signature arm piece, purchase the D&G Genteel watch in black and brown.

Milan Fashion Show

This Tuesday was the exquisite 2010 menswear show, or Milan for short - overall consisting of sophistication with a dressed down style, some of which evoked a travel look. To keep you up to date with some of your favorite designers I have here a summary of what exactly went on.

Because this was a Spring/Summer collection, top names took advantage of men’s bodies, from the vests by Cavalli to the open tops and tight swimming trunks by D&G, there is and was plenty of skin to be shown! But who got a standing ovation from the crowd?None other then Emporio Armani, Giorgio showed off his olive skinned models in suits in light hues of grey, with a tailored look and defined shoulders, overall giving off a “city smart” yet “comfortable” look. For this same approach he has techno mesh with bright orange that gave it that perfect flair, needed for those urban nights with your cadre. Suits were checkered or stripped, shirts have loud and often times, obnoxious patterns, but it all came together for a very unified look.

Men are looking for excitement in fashion, Versace and Gucci know this, they went with a disposition that was “resolutely optimistic,” starting shows with pale creams.

Latter in the show we see hot reds coming with Gucci evening suits, this mixed in with a black line, also accompanied with Bottega Veneta. The tops and trousers went well with tie-dye pattern.

Versace and Gucci, whose mood was "resolutely optimistic", started their shows with men dressed in white or pale creams.

For accessorizes, designers played with plastics.

With much love,

"An Apple A Day Keeps The Doctor Fashionable"

This past weekend Gareth Pugh staged his Fall 09 collection at the Audi Fashion Festival in Singapore. The show was awesome itself. Check below.

But that was the least of my interest. After the show Dr. Georgia Lee (one of Singapore's most famous aesthetician) was caught at the VIP area wearing Dolce & Gabbana Spring 09.

For her to be a doctor she sure can pass for an international supermodel with that flawless face and amazing height. She must REALLY love her job..lol.

Hey, She's Not A Boy!

Dolce & Gabbana held their Spring 2009 menswear show in Milan this weekend. Did you catch that? Menswear! So what the heck was Naomi doing strutting her stuff down the runway? I don't know, but she looked liked fiya in a black lace bra, silk boxer shorts and a matching kimono. You know you have to be the cream of the crop when they have you in men's show when you're not even a male. I guess she was able to squeeze time in from the courthouse to do something constructive with her time, ey?

BTW-Campbell plead guilty to assault on airport police. :(

Take It Off McConaughey!

We all know about actor Matthew McConaughey catching the deal to lead D&G's newest fragrance, The One, but what I bet most of you all didn't know is that McConaughey refused to take his shirt off for the USA's version of the fragrance commercial. I guess only the Europeans and Asians are good enough to see him shirtless(as if we haven't seen enough of it, lol). There are only 2 reasons I can think of for McConaughey not wanting to have his chest shown in the States' commercial; either he's tired of being the sex symbol for millions or he has realized that he's about to be a father soon and doesn't want his kids growing up thinking their father is a stripper. Now these may seem like valid reasons to McConaughey but I think they're pretty(excuse my french) stupid! I mean, c'mon dude! A 5 second shot of your chest is gonna hurt you more than the numerous times you've been shown bare on the big screen??? No! Well unfortunately for Matt, the Euro ad has still managed to make it's way to the U.S. via YouTube...check it out!

Everyone Loves A D&G Man

While browsing the net I found a topic I knew all the ladies would love to read...or maybe just look at the pictures. Whatever the case may be, I'm still going to write. I recently found out that male model, David Gandy had once again became the "face" of Dolce&Gabbana's newest underwear collection and was featured in their 2008 calendar. This is a great look for Gandy, who has just started his career about 7 years ago when he signed with London agency Select. Standing 6 feet 2 inches, Gandy has become the object of lust to millions of females(and some males) around the world. Becoming a model had not always been an aspiration of Gandy's. His career took off when friends posted a picture of him in a male model competition and an agent from Select discovered him. Coincidence or what?! However it happened the main point is that IT HAPPENED! And now you can find David Gandy posted in the pages of numerous magazines as the "face" of D&G. If you want his number you have to comment, lol...(seriously)
