She's a Queen, in my eyes.
Stella McCartney can do NO wrong. She knows her craft, & it shows in every look that came down the runway for Paris Fashion Week to showcase her Spring/Summer 2010 collection. She killed the game this season and if you could, you'd be a fool not to add a couple of the collection's pieces to your wardrobe. She gave us simple, buoyant, and colorful clothes for the woman who'd prefer not to wreck her brain in the morning, attempting to get dressed. This is for the mature crowd, while still pulling off the young, sexy, and chic look. It's McCartney. She went with the tailored aspect for a good portion of the show, still keeping the feminine direction; jackets in silvery raw silk shantung came with a graceful ruffle down one lapel, or a sweet peplum, and were paired with wrapped-waist, relaxed silk pants. Denim button-front A-line skirts were thrown in there, that I just loved.
"Summer's not about aggression. I wanted to teach my customers not to be afraid of the simple stuff." -McCartney
