Behind the Scenes with Elena Satine

Here's another video of our behind the scenes photoshoot for actress Elena Satine featured in our current issue (6).   We did a sort of throw back to the 60's look with designs by Adolfo Sanchez.
This classic beauty has studied at the Moscow Art Theater School in Russia, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, England.  Look for her in the upcoming "Just Go with It," with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston and "Now," with Justin Timberlake.  And it that were not enough.....check out her musical talents singing on "Cold Case."   Special Thanks to La Maison De Fashion for the shoot location.....

                 

Behind the Scenes photoshoot with Cindy Busby from CW's "Heartland"

Check out this behind the scenes video of Cindy Busby in her Regard  Magazine photoshoot for Issue 5.  Cindy stars in CW's "Heartland" and was a blast to work with.  She had a chance to wear gowns and designs from Beverly Hills designer, Gilbert Chagoury of Chagoury Couture.  As usual, Dimitry worked his magic and the results are stunning.

CW: The New Big Shot

If I were CBS, ABC, or NBC I'd be pretty nervous right about now, because the CW has come outta nowhere and bombarded us with a whole slew of addictive series that make us not even want to turn the channel. Last week I I got to see Gossip Girl, 90210, AND ANTM! (I must have too much extra time on my hands). It's like two nights of The Hill-ish drama (without lying to us and telling us it's real life) and then a third night fierceness and runway. Not only are they keeping us from the other cable networks...they're also slowly winging us off of MTV.

Privileged- Tuesdays 9pm


America's Next Top Model- Weds 8pm


90210- Tuesdays 8pm


Gossip Girl- Mondays 8pm



Whoever is in charge of picking up the new shows deserves a raise. Bravo CW! Oops that's a different channel.

So...I Need To Be On Here!

If anybody else reading this is an reality show freak like me, you'd all know about the upcoming reality show "Stylista". Eleven people compete against each other for an awesome editorial job with Elle magazine. I guess Anna wasn't having all that commotion at Vogue, huh? lol. Well Elle's Fashion News Director, Anne Slowey, wouldn't mind holding these aspiring fashionistas' future in her hands as they work as her assistants. It's almost like The Devil Wears Prada in real life. Now, I don't know how serious these kiddies are about this once in a lifetime opportunity but I will give up almost anything(except LivLux, lol) for this! Even though Elle isn't my favorite magazine, it's a step that will get you in the door to the fashion world. The best part about the the show is the grand prize; a paid editorial position at Elle magazine, a paid lease on a great apartment in Manhattan, and a clothing allowance at H&M valued at $100,000, all for one year! The show premieres this fall on the CW network. Maybe I should try and sign up for Season 2, hmmm...
