Famed shoe designer, Christian Louboutin has really used his creative juices this time around for his latest ad campaign with famous still life photographer Peter Lippmann. Each shoe of the collection was interpreted into photos that emulate classic pieces from the 18th century - multicoloured sweets, exotic fruits, flowery decorations, still life and a pair of Tina boots, a must-have for this summer presented in a killer photograph.

Lol, I'm sure that performance has Oscar written all over it. Anyway, please don't ask me why I was on Applebottoms website (I'm still tryna figure it out myself) but I came across this shoe, which probably from a distance if you squint your eyes would look fierce, but then once you get close and see the apple buckles you'll lose some excitement...but then as the girl is walking away you'll gain an extreme FALSE excitement. I'm not sure if Louboutin has exclusive rights on the red bottom, but why would you want to copy something that another company is internationally known for? Yeah I know it's called "applebottoms" so a lil red on the bottom was probably a cute idea, but it's definitely not a cute idea for all the women who spend outrageous amounts of money to have their red bottoms glide across the room, and then here come this chick with her $60 red bottoms right behind em.

OK, I want to apologize for all the Rihanna hype lately, but you can't deny this girls sense of style. Rihanna hosted the third annual “Cartier Love Day” Lighting Ceremony at New York City’s Empire State Building last Thursday. She looked amazing in this strapless PRQ floral mini dress with the Christian Louboutin ankle booties and, no doubt, Cartier jewels. This girl needs to become someones muse ASAP! I think what got me was the jewels in the hair. YESS!!! I LOVE YOU RI!! :)

Every female who is anyone in the fashion/entertainment world has a pair of this mans heels in her closet. If not, she must be living under a rock without a shoe rack. You don't even have to be fashion-savvy to know who this man is...just pick up a Jay-Z's latest album, American Gangster and he mentions him. Christian Louboutin has made a name for himself that is just as impressive as the heels, which I think speak for themselves. Louboutins career started back in 1992 when he open his first boutique in Paris. Since then he has opened numerous stores around the globe, with two in NYC. With the infamous red sole on the bottom of every single pair of heels he makes, I say that it would be almost impossible to forget this man. Everyone from Nicole Kidman to Janet Jackson has been spotted strutting their stuff in a pair of these gorgeous pumps.

Just recently, he visited Barney's New York where he signed the soles of his red-soled heels for swarms of fashionista fans. Even legendary soul singer, Pattie LaBelle and model, Naomi Campbell where in attendence.

Keep your eyes out for Mr. "Red Sole" Louboutin, because I'm sure he's just getting started.
