Mommy and Daddy, I Love You!

The sickest couple alive, was recently spotted at the "Answer The Call" event for a charity concert conference out in New York. Bey look fab as always, making mini Bey(ME) very proud. I am curious about how she sat down with all of that wire around her lower half, but on the other hand who cares?? DOPE is DOPE!

Jay-Z Lays Down The Law

Jay-Z is like a big rap bully. When he gets fed up with something, he makes an instructional song and expects everyone to do as he says. First he wanted everyone to get their grown man on and wear button ups instead of jerseys, then he subliminally dissed skinny jeans trying to force everyone to wear his baggy Rocawear jeans, now he's single handedly putting an end to autotunes. Everyone has been making a fuss about Death of Autotunes (which is a good song, but I don't think he snapped) so let's see how all the T-Pains, Lil Wayne's, and Rob Brows react to this demand.

Ya Big Bully.

G'Day Guhvnah!

It's kind of hard not to be envious of these two. If anyone has it all, it's Jay & Bey - no doubt. Being the richest celebrity couple gives them reason to look on top of their shit at all times. It's crazy when you look back at where these two came from and to where they are now. Bey coming from the group of five and coming out with hits like "Bills, Bills, Bills" and "Say My Name", And you cant forget those horrid fits that Tina put in for them videos..lol. Even through all the group problems and them breaking up everytime we blinked, she still made a way to step up and take her seat at her throne. Jay-Z wasn't any better, starting off in petty rap battles around the streets of New York, challenging everyone he came in contact with(It's been said that he battled Bone Thugz & Harmony member Bizzy Bone and lost) to teaming up with Damon Dash and Kareem Biggs to create Roc-A-Fella Records. He went from a hustler, just trying to get his music out there to becoming one of the most financially successful hip hop artists and entrepreneurs in America.

Ok, I just realized that I got soo off topic to the real reason I posted this - which was to show how this picture is inspiration to so many...and how bomb Jay's hat is, lol.

Get into it.

Style ICON?!

Almost all of us are influenced by the style of people in the entertainment business. There are so many different types of celebs with their own different style that appeals to us. But are all of them worthy of being called a Style Icon? I don't think so. Let's go through a few names and decide if they have shown that they are not just what their stylist picks out for them.

Tyra Banks
First, we have former model, talk show host, actress, singer and businessperson Tyra Banks(Lemme catch my breath, lol). Banks has been around for a long time now and she is still in the game without a sign of stepping down any time soon. Even though I'm over ANTM now, I still love Tyra - she can just make some foolish decisions at times. But when it comes to style, I feel as though she's been in the game long enough to know right from Condoleezza Rice(Whoops, I didn't mean to type that). Maybe, I'm alone on this one but I really don't see style when I look at Miss Banks. Sorry, girl but imma have to say NO!

Kanye West
What's understood doesn't have to be explained. YES!

T.I.(a.k.a T.I.P.)
One of the most fashionable rappers that I've ever seen, T.I. has made a mark in the music and fashion industry in a short period of time. I just don't know how his style really sets him apart from the pack, besides his bomb tailored suits. He is in the process of coming out with his own clothing line, so lets see how that goes. But as of right now I will have to pass. NO!

Hov & Bey
Might as well do the Dynamic Duo together. Seeing as though they are at the peak of both their careers and they are the epitome of dope when it comes to fashion, who wouldn't agree with me when I say these two music moguls are Style Icons. Being Hollywood's richest couple probably plays a big part in my decision, ey? Maybe.. It doesn't matter though. YES!

Rihanna
I'm going to let you be the judge of Miss Thang right here. I can see it happening, just not right now... Tell me what you think. Yes or No?

Roca Wear Expands...Of Course

Jay to the mutha effin Z. I mean does the new money he makes even matter?? Does he even see it or get to spend it?? I mean he does already have millions upon millions, he should just donate the new money to Liv Lux, lol. Well anyway his "new money" is coming from a partnership with Elizabeth Arden to develop a line of perfumes and colognes...AND skincare products. Gotta separate yourself from the pack, fragrances just aren't enough now a days. For now you can find 9IX which should be in stores any day now seeing that the ad is already out. Now you have one more reason to be "jockin Jay-z".

Sweet smell of success

Liv Lux Top 5 Artist Collabs

Lately the music industry has brought together some pretty great artists that have created awesome music and Liv Lux wants to showcase these artist-duos that have caught our eye due to their great music. This is Liv Lux's Top 5 Collabos. Get into it.

Let's start with my all-time favorite right now, Lil Wayne and Robin Thicke. If you're a fan of great music you need to hear these two kats together. When you think of Lil Wayne, first thing that comes to mind is hard as rapping with curse words we've never heard before. But it's somewhat different when it's a track with Thicke on there. On Weezy's new CD, Tha Carter 3(GO COP THAT!), they have a hit together called "Tie My Hands" which talks about the hard times in New Orleans. They previously have a track together called "Shooter". If you haven't heard these two together, get up under that rock and listen.

Next on the list is Bow Wow and Omarion. These teenage sensations have stolen the hearts of high school girls around the globe with their collaborations. They have even taken the idea to do a WHOLE ALBUM with just them too. Face Off hit stores in 2007 and was a must-have. Even if you haven't purchased the CD, I bet you've heard their hits on the airwaves of almost every radio station. With Bow Wow's lyrics and O's seduction, how could you go wrong?

3rd we have T-Pain and.....T-Pain! My reasons for this are logical. I mean, Instead of naming the numerous artists that Teddy Pin-Her-A**-Down has collaborated with I just decided to do him by himself. I still have yet to find a song that I hate that has T-Pain on it. And not to mention this guy is on almost every remix out. It has to be that unique voice of his. Whatever the reason maybe, I love it and I know you all do too!

This is me, thinking ahead of time. Now as soon as I heard The Game's new single, "Pain", with Keyshia Cole I fell in love. For some reason, I feel her..where she's coming from in the song. She talks about how ever since she has gotten into the music game she has made changes and given back to the world. And Game just reminds me of Ice Cube so much, it's crazy. These too look good and sound good together. They give us the bad boy & girl look. Actually, I love Keyshia's look more than any other artist in the game now. Even though this is their first single together, I see more hit collaborations in these two artists future. If you haven't heard "Pain" yet...kill yourself.

I decided to save the BEST for last. Bey and Jay have taken the game to another level with their music collabs. From "Bonnie & Cylde" to "Upgrade U", I say they were made for each other. There's no need to get into their personal lives...save that for another day, lol. But honestly I feel like they have paved the way for musical couples(cough, cough-Ri & Chris). No need to ask you have you heard any of their music, because you have...trust me.

Well I hope you've all enjoyed reading about Liv Lux's hottest collaborations. Tell us what you think about it through a comment and we will be sure to respond. We love hearing from you all. Until next time..

Could The Big O Get The Scoop??

Rumors are buzzing that the King and Queen may finally open up about their relationship on Oprah. Well I say "DON'T DO IT!", we all just need to stop being nosey and admire from afar, because they've kept their relationship private for all this time and everything has been going just fine. This may make them like the rest of the celebrities...married today, divorced tomorrow. Although if they did decide to do it, I will definitely be tuned in, but I just wouldn't advise them to do it. Besides, their music tells it all anyway. Beyonce stays crazy in love, and Jay got the hottest chick in the game...what else do you need to know???

Could it BEY true???

So the rumor going around now-a-days is that Jay-Z's better half has got something baking in the oven. OMG....let's just first stop and think of how terribly rich and and talented this child would be...then let's think about if that means Beyonce will slow down and become a "homemaker".

I really hate to sound selfish, but I'm just not ready for Bey to slow down. I need some more larger than life performances and videos with random dances that turns into the "it" thing at the club. Bey, we are good with lil Daniel for right now, I still need some fire outta you!

She does seem like a hopeless romantic though, If the baby rumors are true, and she does have a baby and slow down, I'ma need Solange to take over. Baby sis next up to bat!

Louboutin Love♥

Every female who is anyone in the fashion/entertainment world has a pair of this mans heels in her closet. If not, she must be living under a rock without a shoe rack. You don't even have to be fashion-savvy to know who this man is...just pick up a Jay-Z's latest album, American Gangster and he mentions him. Christian Louboutin has made a name for himself that is just as impressive as the heels, which I think speak for themselves. Louboutins career started back in 1992 when he open his first boutique in Paris. Since then he has opened numerous stores around the globe, with two in NYC. With the infamous red sole on the bottom of every single pair of heels he makes, I say that it would be almost impossible to forget this man. Everyone from Nicole Kidman to Janet Jackson has been spotted strutting their stuff in a pair of these gorgeous pumps.

Just recently, he visited Barney's New York where he signed the soles of his red-soled heels for swarms of fashionista fans. Even legendary soul singer, Pattie LaBelle and model, Naomi Campbell where in attendence.

Keep your eyes out for Mr. "Red Sole" Louboutin, because I'm sure he's just getting started.
