Diddy's Annual White Party!

Aww Man, Diddy's White party was off the chain!! I was in there partying it up with everybody! Wooo Sean (we're on first name basis now) hooked my Ciroc and lemonade up! ...ok I can see you snickering at the screen in disbelief, lol... it's ok, I'll really make it out there next year.

Even if you weren't there, Diddy made sure to give you a little taste of the party through "Ptwitty TV" by streaming live on Ustream.tv. When I tuned in the camera was at a terrible location and someone commented "Are we at the kids table Diddy?", lol, from our angle it was definitely boring. But I could tell there was some action going on somewhere else, the dj played all the jams from old school Mike Jack to Common's Universal Mind Control... and from the twitter updates... the celebs we're definitely enjoying themselves.

...And the Daily Mail in the UK had the nerve to call Teyana Taylor Rihanna's clone! (we don't all look alike). I think they we're saying that just because she was with Chris and they just need to keep up some type of drama.

Let the man live. And Diddy I'll be checking the mail for my invite next year!!!

Dumb Diddy

Now some of you might be over the DK Drama, but I will never be over it! Danity Kane had to be one of the best things to ever happen to Diddy (Besides J-Lo). They were obviously the best group that came out of his Making The Band series and for him to throw all that away because he "didn't like how the group was going" is some bullsh*t! Excuse my french, I get a little upset when it comes to these girls - they were the shit! Well not exactly the shit...but they we're getting there, lol. Anywho...I wish all these lovely ladies the best on future endeavors and I'm pretty sure we'll hear from all them pretty soon. Yes, even Aubrey.

Who Will It Be???

Well I know you heard like I heard...somebody WILL NOT!...be in Danity Kane any longer, and OMG the suspense is killing me! I know we all believe it will be Aubrey but I just don't think Diddy will be that predictable. He knows how to play with our heads and keep us watching. It could be Dawn...I definitely hope not...but she could be a stand alone artist, I would buy her album, and I did hear some things about her doing a solo project...so you never know. But let's really sit and think about this, if someone leaves the group, that leads to Diddy being able to do yet another Making The Band season to find a replacement girl, and a replacement girl leads to all sorts of other issues like her living up to the performance of the last girl...her meshing well with the rest of the girls...and her breaking that "new girl" title. Of course this is all just a theory but I wouldn't be surprised. Well Tuesday we shall all find out who gets put out on the chopping block.

I don't know about you but I'm clearing my schedule.

WHAT THE HELL???

Now I see exactly what Diddy was talking about when he went off on her on the show. This is just real triflin...I really can't think of a more polite way to say it. She looks high, her lips look like they were plumped right before she got there, and is that a lace front wig?? It's just a really bad reflection on the group. I mean we know you can't sing Aubrey but this isn't the way to make up for it.

Prime example of celebrity emptiness and insecurities...smh

Music's Savior: Janelle Monae

You would think that after waiting about 3 1/2 hours for a show to start, the crowd would be grumpy and bitter towards the artist right? Definitely not the case when the artist is some one like Janelle Monae, the larger than life future of music. Chris and I had the pleasure of enjoying her performance last night at the Delano Hotel in the Florida Room on South Beach. The atmosphere was amazing with the DJ playing hits from Micheal Jackson to Mya as we waited for the pint sized Monae to arrive. Christopher wasn't to familiar with Monae so I briefed him with what she'd be wearing...her signature look of a white tuxedo shirt, black tie, black pants, and black and white oxfords....and I "attempted" to sing some of Sincerely Jane, "You'll know it when you here it"...to save myself the embarrassment.

She started the show with Violet Stars Happy Hunting and kept us rocking for the next 30mins. Yes the performance was short and sweet but, with all the energy she gave us I couldn't blame her. She put her all into her performance and we could honestly feel her love for music. I swear Janelle's the kind of artist you want to keep to yourself because you don't want other people saying she's their favorite artist...but there's no way that'll happen because her career is taking off like a rocket. Diddy(the great investor) wasted no time signing Janelle so uh oh you know what that means..... Platinum records, Tons of fans, Super stardom, the whole nine.

Zac x Diddy

We all need to take notes from my God Daddy Diddy (yes I'm claiming him as my God Daddy, I know he has a lot of kids, but what will one more hurt). He said himself that he's not making money from music, but what he is making money from is the MTV shows that were on around the clock..bet you didn't know he was involved with Run's House (read the credits people)...all the making the bands, his fragrances, his clothing line, and now someone else's clothing line. It was the best idea in the world for Diddy to partner up with Zac Posen and his Ready to Wear Collection. For one: Zac's designs rock my socks, and two: Why not capitalize on your brand and someone else's brand?

I know I'm slipping but, I just took a look at Zac's Spring collection and I must say although not very cohesive, all the clothing is very much up to par...no what's better than par? A birdie?? Yeah I think his collection is a birdie, lol. He has amazing red carpet worthy dresses along with shirts, skirts, and pants that are great for everyday. And if you can't decide which trend to follow this season (tribal, artsy, floral) Posen pretty much covers them all so, be at ease my indecisive friends. All I can say is take a look for yourself, and like I said, take out your pen and pad whenever Diddy makes a move.
