Another Fashion Fusion

Design duo, Kate and Laura Mulleavy, are working on a collaboration with Target for it's next "Go" series, scheduled to kick off in December. Rodarte was awarded this years top design award at the CFDA, so this major move only add's to the brand's credibility. The new collection is said to be “very feminine, yet very modern. The collection incorporates a rich mix of patterns and fabrications and everything from sequins and bows to faux fur. The key with Rodarte is layering.”

And you can already expect the prices to be more than reasonable. Are you excited yet? I hope so, lol.

Anna Pulls My Heart Strings

I'm sure Christopher Nic would agree that this is all up and down my alley. I live for dresses and skirts and these Anna Sui pieces really have my name written on them. I feel like they're already in my closet, hold on let me go see... lol. Nope, not there... I forgot I'm not dropping thousands of dollars on dresses YET, these little numbers run a pretty penny.

I'll wait for the Anna Sui for Target, lol.

Anna for Target

Dearborn, MI native, Anna Sui is joining the ranks of the designers to design a collection for Target. This is exciting news to me because I've always admired Anna's love of prints and the free spirit aura that surrounds the collections. Anna drew inspiration from a source I'm sure all of us are inspired by.... Gossip Girl. That show gives us a variety of distinct styles within each character and now it's like marrying the best of both worlds, designer low priced fashions and iconic it girl style.




The line will be available September 13th through October 17th, so mark your calenders and make room in your closets.

This Is For You Doni

I know how Doni shops - the look for less. I don't know if she or anyone else has heard the great news, but designer Alexander McQueen has debuted his a line at Target.



You would expect that since the line is at a discount store that the clothes would look sorta shabby but they were far from that. I could barely tell the difference, with the signature clean and sharp lines.

Halloween??? I Don't Think So

All of these shoes were listed in the Halloween section on Target.com. Well could've fooled me, because I could almost swear I saw these looks prancing down the runway. (I said almost swear).

Rogan for Target

After flying solo with a Go International line without a featured designer, Target kicks it in to high gear this time around with Gregory Rogan's collection made from 100% certified organic cotton. As like all Go features, Rogan is not here to stay it's only available from May 18th thru June 28th, and since eco-friendly is all the rage right now, I'm sure this line will be gobbled up like all the rest.

The line is downtown cool girl, like so many other lines this season, so the pieces are very easy to wear and make you look good with out trying. I'm personally looking forward to the animal print shorts. I always get into the Go lines, except for Jovovich-Hawk which I didn't really care for, so maybe I'll show you how I rocked my Rogan look ;-)

Oh Isaac ♥

No matter what he does, Issac Mizrahi will always have a place in my heart. It's just something about him that makes me feel like we're long lost best friends. It wasn't the Target line that got me, it was his show on the Style Network that kept me glued to the screen and laughing hysterically when he asked crazy questions or demanded the audience to "Clap for her".

His Summer 08 collection is so simple with exceptions of one or two stand out details. On a video he explained how he feels most comfortable with this collection because he simple made what he liked and worried about nothing else. And that's exactly how it should be. His clothes are always lady like and mature, and he doesn't force us to kill ourselves with outrageously high heels, or dresses that you can't sit down in.



Isaac has been in the game for years and I see no signs of slowing down. He seems to be at a place to where people, young and old, are starting to really enjoy his designs and embrace him as well. And although I love Isaac, until millions of people start reading this blog and I become extremely wealthy, I will have to continue to enjoy his target line, because this trapeze gown above is $4,555!
