Lady Gaga: Bad Romance Music Video

Not a huge fan of music videos. But when you f*ck around and wear Alexander McQueen S/S 2010 collection in your music video, then it becomes my concern.

She has been pulling out all the guns, especially when dealing with the fashion world. Being acknowledged by fashion icons all over the world at such an early age of your career really gives you a little ego.

Music and Fashion. My two loves. Lady Gaga gives me both. I love her.

Alexander McQueen TIPS.

Have you ever seen anything so dope? That question was rhetorical, because I know you haven't.

Alexander McQueen's Spring 2010 collection was awesome. The models could have walked up and down the runway butt naked, just as long as they kept these grotesque shoes that looked like "the armored heads of a fantastical breed of antediluvian sea monster" on.

These are art, in one of the rarest forms. They fit perfectly with the short, reptile-patterned, digitally printed dresses that hit the runway.

Blood Red Insides

Alexander McQueen's Fall 09 ripper calf snap boots. TO DIE! Skinny's, shredded tank, and a boyfriend blazer...what?!? Can't tell me nothing.

Alexander Doesn't Quit...

Alexander McQueen never fails to inspire me with his latest creations. These gladiators (God I hope gladiators never go out of style) are from his Spring/Summer 2010 collection, and as long as your toes aren't throwing up obscenities you have the ok to rock the Queens!

Queen the King...

Alexander McQueen

Ok, let's not talk about price or where to go to get these shoes. Let's just simply be inspired by these shoes, and imagine the kind of events you'll have to put on your schedule and the kind of places you would have to go to even have these shoes be appreciated. These shoes would make you get your life together, because they can't just be worn to any ole place, and their so special that you wouldn't dare kick them under the bed to collect dust. So even if you can't afford them...at least make this pic your screen saver to inspire you daily to do better, and dream bigger.

It sounds funny but I'm serious.

This Is For You Doni

I know how Doni shops - the look for less. I don't know if she or anyone else has heard the great news, but designer Alexander McQueen has debuted his a line at Target.

You would expect that since the line is at a discount store that the clothes would look sorta shabby but they were far from that. I could barely tell the difference, with the signature clean and sharp lines.

“I wanted my Target collection to feature key aspects of the McQ Alexander McQueen aesthetic, classic craftsmanship with a rebellious, nostalgic flare. The collection is comprised of effortless, chic menswear inspired tailored pieces that women will feel confident wearing.”
-McQueen, during an interview with Nylon Magazine

Would You Wear...

Alexander McQueen has become one of the top trendsetters of the season with all of his unique designs. Now he has done it again with his newest footwear, the shoe-sandal. Soo....is it a shoe or a sandal? I don't really know, lol. Now I don't think I would feel comfortable wearing this pair of shoes for a day but I guess McQueen thinks differently. Would you wear Alexander McQueen's shoe-sandals?

Alex in L.A.

Everyone was all smiles at the Alexander McQueen store opening in L.A. this past Tuesday, which now makes for store locations in London, Milan, New York, Vegas, and now the city of Angels. Of course like any major store opening in L.A. it was star studded, with guest such as Eve, Janet...Ms. Jackson if ya nasty, Joy Bryant, and...get this...Bishop Magic Don Juan! Now what does he know about McQ??

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Janet looks a little...frumpy :-(. I understand you want to wear Alex to an Alex event, but that's just too much fabric for me. Now don't get me wrong the dress looks fab on the runway, but just not on Janet, sorry Mrs. Dupri maybe next time.

Who did look amazing, was Joy. She looked effortless in that animal print floor length dress, very L.A. Eve looked so so, so no need for a pic, lol. But I will tell you that you need to get into Alex's s/s collection because it is amazing. Rihanna rocked McQueen in the latest issue of Elle and I stared at the dress for at least ten minutes contemplating what I was gonna sacrifice to try to get it, lol. Idk why I've been overlooking McQueen, but now I'll have my eye on whatever he does.

Check My Footwork!

So if you are oblivious to the fashion scene and haven't noticed the trend for summer '08 I am here to the rescue! Gladiator sandals are all the rage this year and I, along with Doni W., agree. These unique pair of footwear are the hottest thing since shoe strings(which are SOOO overrateed now). I have been noticing many fashion designers having at least one pair of gladiator sandals in their Spring/Summer collection. The best looking pair that I have seen so far are the metallic gladiators by Alexander McQueen. Take a look and see if you agree.

They give you that sexy and wild egde with still being comfortable, which is always important. Too bad these bad boys will run you around $595. If only we could hang with the rich and famous...

But there is still hope! Urban Outfitters have a pair of studded gladiator sandals for only $58. They're not as fancy as McQueen's but they still say, "Look at me! I'm a comfy fashionista!" Take a look for yourself...

I think these will be a great addition to your closet ladies!
