Urban Outfitters Holiday 2009 Look Book

"I got the new Urban Outfitters look book!" This is what C Nic announced yesterday when he arrived to the office. Yes indeed, the UO lookbook is a seasonal treat that everyone should enjoy. And guess what??...you can! Take a peek at their online version and get tons of inspiration and an idea of what you're putting on your holiday wish list.

They have some amazing boots and dresses that I have my eye on, and their funiture (which I'm usually not a fan of) is very cute and eclectic this season, perfect for the dorm or apartment. Today we're taking a 40 minute trip to American Apparel and Urban Outfitters and I'll get to get my hands on my own lookbook.

They're Coming Back!!!

So I was joking with C. Nic the other day on how I want to be the first to bring back Saucony's because everyone else claims they were so dead. I personally had the DOPEST Saucony's in Junior High. I had 3 pair...one pair was baby pink and white, the other, gold and white, and then I had the one's that faded from blue to purple! So hard! lol.

Well like I predicted they're coming back, and I will not be afraid to wear them (ok, maybe just a little, lol) Urban Outfitters has them online for $60-65. Anybody want to bring them back with me??? lol.

Now New Balances? Those can stay dead.

I Could Live In This Store Forever

If I was employed at UO, I can guarantee they would never have to worry about me calling off. I just LIVE every time I'm in the store! Public Library & UO Collab To Save Darfur

For all of you who have wanted to help out in the fight to save Darfur but don't have thousands of dollars to donate...where there's a will, there's a way! I was looking on the Urban Outfitters website to check out what was hott or not in their S/S collection when I came across this lovely little tee. UO has collaborated with the Public Library and designed this exclusive graphic tee to help raise the awareness of the crisis going on over in Sudan. The v-neck tee is really relaxed and kinda just hangs off you. This has Olsen twins written all over it, don't you think? And the great thing with it being from UO is that you already know it doesn't cost an arm and a leg-only $28.00. With every shirt sold, $5 will be given directly to the Save Darfur Organization. How about you join us and support a good cause, because I know I want one!

Vogue You Better Watch Out!

NYLON magazine is one of the hottest magazines hitting the pavement and I must say I am starting to love it just as much as Vogue, which has been my All-Time Favorite since 2005 when Kate Moss The Boss was on the cover. But ever since I picked up my first issue of NYLON back in August 2007 when the infamous Nicole Richie was on the cover saying "I don't have a clue why I'm famous, either." The magazine is filled with many interesting things ranging from music to, of course, the latest in the fashion world. Recently NYLON teamed up with Urban Outfitters for the NYLON SUMMER MUSIC TOUR 2008 which just started this past week on the 8th and runs until June 21st. They have also collaborated with MySpace.com to create School of Rock which allows fans to ask numerous bands how they learned to how rock out! The Q&A's will be put in Mays Issue that comes out on the 29th. So be looking out because NYLON is on it's way to becoming a great magazine. Kudos to co-founder, Marvin Scott Jarrett! If you haven't picked up an issue of NYLON make sure you do next time you go to get your Vogue, k?

Check My Footwork!

So if you are oblivious to the fashion scene and haven't noticed the trend for summer '08 I am here to the rescue! Gladiator sandals are all the rage this year and I, along with Doni W., agree. These unique pair of footwear are the hottest thing since shoe strings(which are SOOO overrateed now). I have been noticing many fashion designers having at least one pair of gladiator sandals in their Spring/Summer collection. The best looking pair that I have seen so far are the metallic gladiators by Alexander McQueen. Take a look and see if you agree.

They give you that sexy and wild egde with still being comfortable, which is always important. Too bad these bad boys will run you around $595. If only we could hang with the rich and famous...

But there is still hope! Urban Outfitters have a pair of studded gladiator sandals for only $58. They're not as fancy as McQueen's but they still say, "Look at me! I'm a comfy fashionista!" Take a look for yourself...
