Item of the Day- YSL Wallet

One brand that has always been loved by editors, models, and fashion people alike is Yves Saint Laurent. The famous YSL logo has been placed on shoes, bags and shirts and this wallet is a secret piece of luxury that you and the cashier will appreciate when you pull it out to place an order. I always see pieces like this as an investment that can be past down to your kids in the future and they can brag on how fashionable their mom was back in the day.

With a wallet like this, you've gotta make sure there's a few coins in it if you know what I mean. No faking it til you make it.

YSL x YSL x YSL x YSL

So, this YSL bodysuit is dope, right? I mean, for about 2 stacks($2,000) it could be yours. This simple peice can do wonders to someone's closet. Beside the label, the fact that you can do basically ANYTHING with it is an added bonus. How about we check out a couple more looks with the YSL bodysuit.

The fits were styled by stylist, Susan Joy. Kudos.

Washington Channels Moss

Check her out! Kerry Washington gets her fierceness on in the Aug/Sept issue of Giant magazine. First thing I thought about when I saw this was the Kate Moss YSL ad campaign...

Guess inspiration has to come from somewhere, lol.

Mother Said Not To Slouch

Louis Vuitton

So what?!? says the designers, because they are giving me slouchy fit all over the place. With pants and jackets big enough to fit 2 people in them... they're slowly sneaking us back into the business side of the 80's. Naomi rocks some beautiful slouchy fit pants in the new YSL ad (and pictured here with ALT) that I loved, and Ashley Olsen wore some slouchy pants to the CFDA awards that I really couldn't see myself in. Regardless, a lot of the designers are forcing us girls to take a more manly approach to fashion...but I don't know if I'm ready for all that.

I totally understand the whole menswear inspired thing, but now even menswear has a slimmer cut and fit...so why do we have to be saggy and baggy? To me it all comes down to feeling like a woman, with a very fitted top and a great pair of stilettos yeah I could pull of slouchy. But a whole suit of just excess material is a little too, what's the word...butch. Maybe at the end of the season we'll see what celeb pulled off the look the best.
