They're Baaaaaack!

So, if you're someone who cares about their social life, it was like an unspoken law to turn your tv to MTV and tune in to the season premiere of The Hills and The City. I'm here to give a little re-cap for the losers, oh I mean, readers who missed it. I'll forgive you this go-round. Don't let it happen again, k? K.

First we'll start with The Hills. If you've been keeping up with the previews to the first episode, we were already aware of the return of Bad Girl, Kristin. Now after seeing the episode, I think she deserves a more 'fitting' title. Queen Bitch will do. Not even 10 minutes into the show and she is already into it with Audrina and Stephanie. Within 20 minutes she's snatched up bachelor, Justin Bobby. Speaking of Justin Bobby he looks so gross now. Like, the whole rugged look was attractive last season. But now it looks like he's been in a cave since last season. Like, aren't these girls tired of sharing boys. That's so 2007.

The City was equally full of drama. A new face by the name of Roxy is already talking smack about Whitney. Then no more than 20 minutes later, she's asking to sleep on Whitney's couch. What a b*tch? Let's just add her to my 'Ew' list. Ok, I'm back. Olivia, from UpTown, is now at Elle Magazine and is already threatening to some people, especially to a girl by the name of Erin, who feels she "thinks she's more qualified than she really is." Basically, she's saying "Don't hire her, because she's going to come after my job after a while." If you know Olivia like I know Olivia, I'm pretty see you could see that disaster in the making, which is exactly what happens when she's put on her first task. A little big argument sparks when Erin questions Olivia's decision. Well not so much question, but diss her look only to be met with a "If you don't like it, you can do it yourself." I love her and all her bitchiness. Get in.

Hills Home Wreckers?

Stacie

Audrina
Ok, if you got to catch the latest episode of The Hills like I did you were probably thinking..."Can anybody find their own man in L.A.???" On the previous episode Audrina casually slept in Brody's bed while he's currently in a relationship with playmate Jade, and Stacie the bartender keeps flirting with Spencer. Ok here's my two problems...1) Isn't it typically every average man's dream to have a playmate??? Ok well why cheat when you get one??? And 2) How can anyone see Spencer as attractive??? I mean Heidi should have no problems keeping him under wraps because he just looks so weird!

Well if you got to see the episode let me know if you think these two really are home wreckers, or if they have a case to plea. And if you didn't see it, go to mtv.com, watch it, and then tell me.

Inquiring minds want to know.

Justin Bobby: Hot Commodity???

Looks like we're gonna see more faces like this next season on The Hills. LC just can't stay away from these rumors. The new rumor in Hollywood is that Lauren hooked up with Audrina's long time fling JUSTIN BOBBY! OMG I was in shock...then I came back down to earth because it seems so bogus. Either Lauren does a really good job covering up her bad girl life, or people just really have it out for this girl. First the sex tape, now this, and from what we see on the show...she doesn't do anything to anyone.

Well here's the story: Audrina went on Ellen Degeneres and said that she heard the rumors and that neither Justin or Lauren has made an effort to clear them up (red flag). She said she called Lauren, not to accuse her, but to ask her about the situation and Lauren apparently hung up in her face! (Gasp). She asked Justin about it and he danced around the question...so all the signs lead up to it happening, but I just can't see Lauren liking Justin....unless he drugged her, which I don't see as impossible. Well, Lauren put on her myspace that the allegations are absolutely preposterous and she would never do such a thing( not her exact words, I just like the word preposterous).

The whole thing is being filmed for the next season...so the drama isn't going anywhere. Now I wonder will Heidi leave Spencer???

Morphine Generation

Yes! Speak to me Morphine...lol. Mute color palette, with a perfect blend of masculine and feminine, Morphine Generation is a line slowly creeping into the spotlight. If you pay as close of attention as I do to The Hills then you heard Whitney talking about the line at People's Revolution. They carry a men's and women's line and are only sold in the finest boutiques..their words, not mine. Unfortunately the store locations are unavailable so I can't rely you that info. But just admire the pretty pictures and I'll update you later.
The line has only been out for 5 years, beginning in 2003 in L.A. by graphic designer and musician Erik Hart. They pride themselves on handmade one of a kind designs made of the best materials. I've seen the clothes in boutiques before and I thought it was more of a t-shirt line, but obviously I was wrong. Those grey shorts are fierce, and I want that jacket/dress combo right this minute. I could see Mary-Kate rocking some Morphine, or maybe Kate Bosworth...ya know the too cool for school girls. I now have Morphine on my radar ;-)

Christopher...can I see you wearing this suit??? lol

Gossip Girl vs. The Hills

Everyone knows that the hottest shows this season are Gossip Girl and The Hills. I mean, who wouldn't enjoy watching a group of spoiled teenage royalties with drama around every corner? With television being ruled by reality shows I would expect The Hills to take off without a problem. And with the crazy plot that GG has I was bound to get wound up in the hype. With both of the shows season coming to an end I wonder whose Season 2 are the people more anticipating. I think I would have to put my money on Gossip Girl. I love the cast and the show just keeps you in suspense. Oh, and you can't forget their wardrobe which is every teenage fashionistas dream; guys and girls, alike. I don't remember seeing one outfit that I didn't love Blake Lively in. This isn't to bash Heidi or any of them, it's just that for The Hills to be a REALity show it starting to seem so FAKE. Having this discussion with friends last night it made me realize certain things that just seemed so phony. Like how Lauren buys that house out of nowhere and the pet went from a cat to a dog over night. wtf?! No matter the issue, I still have my eyes glued to that television every week at the same times for both of these awesome shows. I can't wait for the finale!!

Why Heidi...Why?

So what do you call really cheap clothes with a celebrity name stamped on them...HEIDIWOOD! Wait, can we actually call her a celebrity? Anyway I am highly pissed and disappointed at this monstrosity of a line. I could do better at Wet Seal... as a matter of fact that's were these clothes should be...Wet Seal. I hate to be so harsh, but Heidi is always so so so cute on The Hills and it's just a sad day in fashion when someone puts out a line just for the sake of putting out a line. Ok celebs, jump off the "I'm famous so I'll make clothes" bus, it's not cute anymore. Honestly, I've never worn Dereon, Applebottoms, J. Lo, G. Unit, and never plan on it (I will buy some Bitten without blinking though). I'm just not interested in wearing your name on me if it's unflattering and screams MADE IN A BAD SWEATSHOP IN CHINA, and HeidiWood just looks like a crime and a shame.

I really think she had good intentions by making clothes that weren't outrageously priced, but Heidi please, do not sacrifice style by doing so, because we all know by now that it's not rocket science to look pulled together without breaking the bank. So when it comes to this battle, I'm definitely on team Lauren! Now her line isn't half bad, cute dresses and easy pieces that coordinate more with her personal style then Heidi's line. It's slightly pricier, but it's worth it, you won't look like you hit a lick at Rainbow like "you know who's" line. Get it together Heidi...or just take it off the shelves.

Lauren's Line
