HAPPY HOLIDAYS & HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD

*MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE*
While adding our finishing touches for a wonderful festive celebration of a beautiful holiday, I realized that the television playing in the background had nothing but boring reruns. What happened to the holiday specials? One of the TV stations even had a fireplace with logs burning while playing Christmas carols. I remember that sort of programing a couple of decades ago... What happened to the fun joyous specials of yesteryear? Ahhhhhhhh, must be the writers strike! The networks should rerun the fun programs or favorite classic movies of all time.

Will thank goodness for a couple of my dear friends & fellow artist's CHRISTOPHER KLINGLER & CAROLEE CLARK. They have tagged me to share MY FAVE 25 MOVIES OF ALL TIME. Perfect timing because these make great DVD Christmas & New Year stocking stuffer gifts too. AND now with the holiday music playing through our home we also have fabulous movies for everyone.

I could share my top 100 favorite movies but I'll keep to the 25 by only adding my favorite all time classic movies. With all the celebrations, it's like a great big hug from those that cannot be here for the holidays. But most of all it's wonderful memories of sharing laughter & tears with those I love & hold so dear past & present.

Just click your ruby red slippers together three times & say 'There's no place like home, there's no place like home, there's no place like home'...

*STAR WARS FILM TRIVA ABOUT 'THE FORCE' WHICH WAS ACTUALLY BASED ON REAL LIFE FORCE & SORCERY*
The Force is one of the most recognizable elements of the Star Wars series. It is described by Obi-Wan Kenobi in the original Star Wars film as, "An energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us, penetrates us & binds the galaxy together." Those who can use the Force, such as the Jedi, can perform feats of telepathy, psychokinesis, prescience, clairvoyance & mental control. In addition, they can use the force to amplify certain traits, for example: amplifying their reflexes enough to use a lightsaber to bounce lasers back at the target that fired them. The light side of the Force is the facet aligned with good, benevolence & healing. The dark side of the Force is aligned with fear, hatred, aggression & malevolence.

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU, ALWAYS!

AND PLAY IT AGAIN SAM OR SHOULD I SAY SANTA:
BECKY FEDERICO
SUZANNE URBAN
JODI CREAGER
*CHRISTMAS MAGIC*
Christmas waves a magic wand over this world,
AND BEHOLD, everything is softer & more beautiful.
NORMAN VINCENT PEALE1898-1993
