Yes, VINCA MAJOR is a magickal plant. I was TV channel surfing the other day & TBN Trinity Broadcasting Network had a wonderful nutritionist talking about Brain Fogs. Lately, my memory & physical well being have been slowly weakening with the ever increasing environmental pollution. Vitamins did practically nothing. But I listened about this little miracle plant & wrote down all ailments that this is supposed to alleviate like memory loss, stops decline of natural dopamine levels, promotes circulation to the brain, helps red blood cell count, reduces high blood pressure, stops stomach irritation, helps hearing problems by stopping ringing in the ears, improves eyesight & alleviates fatigue. Oh, the list goes on & on...

I bought the tincture, PERIWINKLE TINCTURE & guess what IT WORKS!!! After only three days, my Brain Fog lifted. It helped on every level. I used just a tiny eye drop tip full in my daily juice & it's a miracle MAGICKAL PLANT!!!


So here is more facts about VINCA MAJOR. The Greater Periwinkle is a fast growing, short to medium evergreen perennial, with beautiful flowers. Its arching stems can reach lengths of up to approximately 12 inches in height, but soon fall over & spread indefinitely, often rooting down at the tip. Its shiny, bright green leaves come in pairs, facing each other. They are approximately 2-3 inches long & oval shaped. Its truly fascinating flowers are bluish~violet or purplish, 1-2 inches across.

VINCA MAJOR grows in or near woodland, river banks & hedgerows. It is a widely cultivated, ornamental plant, but can be quite invasive, so caution should be exercised when introducing it to new areas. I'm going to be planting some of this amazing plant in my garden ASAP... Especially on my hillsides & slopes along side my Rosemary!

The Greater Periwinkle has strong medicinal properties & has been described as an incredibly complex alkaloid plant. According to 'Plants For A Future', the Greater Periwinkle is astringent, bitter, detergent, sedative, stomach & tonic. It contains the alkaloid 'Vincamine', which is used by the pharmaceutical industry as a cerebral stimulant & vasodilator. It also contains 'Reserpine', which reduces high blood pressure. It is used internally in the treatment of excessive menstruation, abnormal uterine bleeding, vaginal discharge & hardening of the arteries. It should not be given to patients with constipation because it can also be used as a mild laxative. It is applied externally to vaginal discharge, nosebleed, sore throat & mouth ulcers. Periwinkle can also be used to heal minor burns & skin eruptions & irritations.

The plants are cut when flowering & dried for later use. The fresh flowers are gently purgative, but lose their effect on drying. A homeopathic remedy is made from the fresh leaves, in tea form & can be used in the treatment of hemorrhages. The same source states that the stems are used in basket making. The plant makes a very good ground cover for covering steep banks, shady places & also (amazingly) drought areas spreading rapidly once established & forming a dense cover within 1 to 2 years. Which is exactly what I need on my slopes & hillsides as extra ground cover for erosion.

I bet VINCA MAJOR will probably be one of the future cures & or helpful medicinal plants for Alzheimer's Disease. After all, the medical doctors are attributing Alzheimer's to hardening of the arteries because of plaque build up. The Greater Periwinkle rids the body of plaque. The Bible states for every aliment known to man there is a plant & tree cure.

Dr. Dre is mourning

Dr. Dre’s son, Andre Young Jr., 20, was found dead at his home in Woodland Hills on Saturday morning.

“Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son Andre Young Jr. Please respect his family’s grief and privacy at this time,” rep Lori Earl tells E! News.

Andre Young Jr. was found dead at his home in Woodland Hills on Saturday morning.

L.A. Weekly reports that Young was was out the previous night and returned home around 5:30 A.M., according to Assistant Chief Ed Winter. His mother went to check on him in his bedroom around 10 A.M., found him unresponsive, and called 911.

“Police arrived and declared him (deceased),” Winter said, adding there was “no visible trauma or the like.”

The precise cause of death won’t be known for up to eight weeks, when toxicology tests are completed.

Dr. Dre also has a son Marcel, born in 1991, from singer Michel’le; a son Curtis McClemore (aka rapper Hood Surgeon) from Cassandra Joy Greene; and two other children, son Truth (born 1997) and a daughter Truly, from wife Nicole.

Our prayers go out to Dre and his family.

Climbing a hill...........

Some days I feel like I am climbing this hill........especially as far as my creativity is concerned, and some days are better, the hill is not SO hard to climb. This hill I might add was especially nice as it leads to the home of the Bronte's, at Howarth and the day was wonderful hence my casual relaxed pose ha ha.

I am on holiday at the moment, and life is fun I have been making and altering cardigans for myself (again) to stretch out my spending money, and I have been inspired again by the wonderful Jessica Ogden, when I was at university( two years ago now!!) we did a huge Eco project on reconstructing and modernising clothes, using old nylon underskirts, boiled jumpers, and ratty quilts etc to produce original embroidered and textural clothing, we had lots of fashion designers visit us to give us ideas and talks...I so miss those inspiring days, well I have found a lovely page from Elle magazine, giving lots of ideas for you to try using Jessica's clever ways with clothes, as you can see I have embroidered a pink cardigan with birds, it looks gorgeous, I am really pleased, THANKS Jessica xx.

My other photograph belongs to Adrian really, he has disappeared into the back basement and is making beer and bottling wine as if it was going out of fashion it smells divine down there........maybe he is planning a party ..who knows!!

Birthday Wish List!!!

Oh...so you thought I was letting you off easy by not demanding what I want for my birthday??? Think again my friend! lol. Ok ok, not a demand but just the things I fantasize about and will soon have. So like to hear it, here it go.

First and foremost....

The boots that have been ever present in my dreams for the past two weeks! Their Gucci. They have Fringe. And they also come in brown. Why wouldn't I have them??? Especially for my birthday. (I hope my family reads this, or maybe a crush that really wants to impress me...the key to my heart lies in these boots, lol).

Secondly...

Lunch with this woman. "Who is this woman Doni?" This woman is Joanna Coles, and she's the editor-in-chief of Marie Claire. She seems like one of the most approachable and down to earth e-i-c's EVER. There would be no strategy to what we would talk about at lunch, or if my hair and outfit is to her liking, I think I could "do lunch" with this lady and actually enjoy myself (and I could probably get a job out of it...hint hint Joanna).

And lastly...I'll keep it short and sweet.

Front Row in the Tents at Bryant Park! Which show you ask?? Well I won't be that picky so any of the following will do... Marc, Calvin, Rodarte, Michael, Miss Sixty, Ralph, or Betsey.

Oh! I almost forgot to tell you the most important thing...My b-day is tomorrow! August 26th. And If I don't get these gifts this go 'round, I'll just get them for myself next time!

This time I'm letting you off easy and you can probably guess which shoe is expensive and which is not. But you must admit, an untrained eye could be easily fooled. So try to figure out which one is an Arm & Leg and which is Chump Change (answers at the bottom).

Now if I were one of this companies, I'd be calling my lawyer right now to see what kind of lawsuit we could cook up for these copy cat shoes. Well If you can see really well than you can read the label and know which one is cheap and which one is not. But! With that being said would you still buy the higher priced shoe and you know there's a look-a-like out there for a fraction of the price??? Hey, it's a fashionista's prerogative...and I ain't knocking nobody either way.

Federation Show @ Manchester University Challenge

Just returned from a huge weekend in Manchester. I was invited up there by Federation to perform an aerial show as part of there biggest party of the year. The university challenge is a huge event housed in the university and sees some of the biggest clubs come together under the one location... including Matinee, Federation and Galaxy.



The show was really well recieved so Im happy with that. Will hopefully be working more with them in the future. will add some more pics as I get them, but for now, here is some my mate took.

Obama Mania!!

The Obama's are everywhere! And you know Tyra...she just couldn't stay away from the action. She poses as the First Lady to be, Michelle Obama in the September issue of Harper's Bazaar, and I must say Tyra makes a "Fierce" first lady. Ok yeah Tyra does a great job as Michelle, and the Obama's are on almost every mag cover you can think of...but I'm just really scared of Obama being over-exposed and McCain being able to continue to play that "celebrity" card. And OMG...if you walk into Barnes and Nobles there are like a dozen books written about Barack Obama! I walked pass the display thinking..."Idk if I've not been paying close enough attention, but I only remember Barack writing one book". I really can't believe that in this short amount of time that many people have written and published books (not a article, or a blog) and already have them out in stores. I'm sorry to say, but if that many people took the time to write an entire book about me, I would have the biggest head in the world! lol, which explains why I should not run for president. Miu Miu Creeping To The Top

Yeah yeah, Miu Miu has a full line of clothing and accessories, but honestly...their shoes steal the show! I can't help but think that their shoes are the bread and butter of the line. And not only are they a stand out within it's own company but they're really putting the more popular shoe lines to shame with it's level of creativity. Remember the tea cup shoe last season? Well try the sequined pump this fall. I've also ran across a patch work boot featured in Bazaar and Nylon, and the most sophisticated peep toe pump with a hammered gold heel. They have really mastered the idea of wearable art and statement accessories.

I know you all have been going through withdraw, and wondering about LL's well-being. But summer is coming to an end and fall is knocking at the door...and to be quite frank...we just had stuff to do, lol. A New Meaning For "I Got A Black Eye!"

I LOVE it when things are recreated, whether it be a movie, clothing, song, whatever. It's just cool to see how good something can be imitated and how the other trys to add their own flavor to something. That's why I enjoyed looking at this spread from Vogue UK's September 2008 issue. Photographer, Mario Testino and stylist, Lucinda Chambers recreated this retro, doll-playing innocence in their “Dolly Mixture” story. It reminds you of the old paper dolls that you could change outfits and accesories with their paper outline. Not that I had any...lol.

When Did Buying Cologne Become So Serious?

I was watching Gucci's commercial for their new fragrance for men, Gucci by Gucci which is starring Pineapple Express co-star, James Franco and was completely thrown off. I didn't know if I was watching a commercial or a documentary of the Civil War. Maybe because Franco just came off from a comedy movie, I wasn't seeing the serious side of him very well. Check it out.



I guess Gucci figured that if they pretended that a fragrance was a world-altering event it would make people want to smell good? I think not.

Two new faces

The winds just blew in two young faeries. They brought with them light summer rainsfrom the heavenlies to drench our garden's young crops looking for a respitefrom the hot August sun.







The younger one appears to be so serious. This little faerie has some big thoughts on her mind and has not shared them with me...yet.







The other little girl already carries a large mother's heart in her breast.
Every fragile, delicate, and vulnerable creature that might happen
to cross her path will be cared for tenderly...





and protected...
