How wonderful to see the sunshine again, it has inspired us to pick apples, make hedgerow jam, and go for long walks with thick socks, welly boots, and rosy cheeks in the sunny yet chilled morning air. The fields are full of corn stooks and crows, and the odd beech leaf falls ever so gently to ground. It has made me feel nesty at home, gathering the autumn in, piling up the wood near the fire, I want to smell cinnamon, and make squash soup with garlic bread for tea, light candles and dream...yes always dream.........the land is changing, the seasons move forward, the wheel turns.
