Eye Opening

One of the hottest glamour treads right now are false eyelashes that are flirty and fun. Normally individual eyelashes stay on for about 2 weeks before they began to loosen up and fall out. Recently for me that was not the case, at all! Although false eyelashes can be fun and sexy they can also be very painful to remove. So here’s a few tips for safely removing those sexy lashes:

1. Never try to remove your lashes by tugging on them. 9 times out of 10, if your pulling on them your damaging your natural eyelashes.

2.Start by applying eyelash remover to your lash line with a Q-tip. Apply from outer edge then inwards to loosen up the lash glue. (Eye makeup remover works just as well as the eyelash remover)

3.If you have individual lashes, use tweezers to carefully remove them. If you are wearing the full strip, then pulling at the corners of the lashes works.

4.Be sure that all of the lash glue is removed by repeating step 2. But if you made the mistake of tugging at your false eyelashes and you removed some of your own lashes, you have nothing to worry about. Pulling out your natural eyelashes is never a good thing, but eyelashes grows at the same rate as the hair on your head. So in about 6-8 weeks your lashes should be back to normal.
