I'm not a faithful watcher of Gossip Girl like I use to be but I do still tune in to see what the upper east siders are wearing. Blake Lively plays Serena on the show and I love her style to death! It's more easy going and bohemian with a touch of sex appeal here and there, reminds me a lot of a more polished Kate Moss. Even though Serena's style is laid back we can't forget that she does attend a ritzy private school and has a family with what seems like an unlimited supply of money...so she does tie in classic pieces, hence the Chanel bag and red lipstick. She can almost always be found in a pair of boots worn with her school uniform, and every time I think of the show I think of this scene when she wore a caramel colored leather jacket with her green, blue, and yellow plaid school skirt with a crisp white oxford shirt underneath. Priceless. If you love drama, clothes, new york, and clothes I suggest you catch an episode on the CW.
