Here Comes the Bride!

Bridal season is well under way, and I would hope the summer brides already have their dresses so that's not the issue at hand. What is, is the wedding gifts! No one wants the same ole china set, or a blender... so get creative this season and make the shopping enjoyable instead of a chore.

For the classic fashionista bride, this Ralph Lauren crocodile alarm clock is the perfect gift that both she and the groom won't mind waking up to everyday. It has a pretty hefty price tag...but hey, they're worth it right?? Right! Marriage is a beautiful thing...let's just hope it's a permanent thing ;-)

Well once they say "I do", now it's time to travel somewhere tres chic for the honey moon! Well Louie's got you covered with the 2008 City Guide giving you plenty of ideas of where to go and what to see while across the pond in Europe. London is a must...then I'd go to Paris of course the city of L.O.V.E. Awwww, this makes me want to have a wedding....maybe.

As the saying goes "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach", and if you've got him down the aisle without knowing how to cook, don't think your on easy street...now is the time to prove yourself. Me and my friends have a little joke that when you spend too much time with your beau that your caking, and therefore we call each other Betty Crocker. So of course the real Betty has all the bases covered when it comes to cooking for the new hubby. Get the kitchen hazardous bride the Betty Crocker Cookbook "Bridal Edition" to ensure that her man doesn't go astray.

Well if all else fails, you can never go wrong with every gals pal Barney. I'm the type of person who is very indecisive and I'm terrible at picking gifts so gift cards are my best friends. And I'm sure the bride and groom will appreciate a gift card from Barney's...just make sure you fill it up nice, because $100 won't go far at Barney's.

So this bridal season don't dread the process, embrace it! And use the excuses to shop and pick up some things for yourself along the way.
