We all know what time of the year it is...couture season! And I'm already being placed in a state of amazement as I was looking at this gown from Christian Dior's Haute Couture Fall 2008 collection. John Galliano has set the bar high for designers who have yet to show off their collection. It gives you a sense of pure elegance and sophistication.
I love the way he cinched the waist on some of the looks. It makes you think back to the old days where it was a thing of the norm for women to accentuate their curves. The look of the models was inspired by model Lisa Fonssagrives. After going back to look at pictures of Fonssagrives, it didn't take long before I could see the resemblence. I enjoyed every minute reviewing the different looks at the show that was held at the beginning of the week.
