Well, I guess Nas can't play the "I'll be controversial to sell a bunch of albums" game, Def Jam pulled the plug on that one real quick. L.A. Reid said he supports all his artists and their decisions, but I guess he just couldn't let this fly.
I'm not sure if Nas' purpose of naming his album "Nigger" was to make a stand against the word or to try to make it acceptable, but either way, this word is way too sensitive to play with. But, I commend his ride or die, Kelis, for supporting her boo in his...dumb decision to name his album Nigger... but I guess that's what wifey's do. So lets see what other name Nas comes up with, and how many albums he'll actually sell.
