ANTM; Cycle 10 Just Doesn't Cut It

America's Next Top Model has always been a favorite in my handbook(right next to Project Runway & The Hills) but for some reason I'm just not able to get into this season like I have the previous ones. I am usually known to never miss an episode of ANTM but this go 'round I find myself forgetting about the show as a whole. I started off good, watching the first couple episodes of the season. There have been a few changes this season; the number of contestants was increased from 13 to 14, the show was moved back to NY after being housed in Los Angeles since Cycle 4 and judge/supermodel Twiggy was replaced by Czech Supermodel, Paulina Porizkova.

Also, a familiar face was seen back on the show. Contestant Marvita Washington came back to give it another shot after being turned down before she could make it to the Top 13. Unfortunately, she didn't make it too far into the game before being eliminated :(. Now the season is down to the final four(Domonique, Fatima, Anya and Whitney) so it might be getting heavy.

I think part of the reason that I've lost interest in the show is because I don't see any true talent and beauty in this crop of females. They all look...normal. And I want you to tell me one person in the fashion industry who likes "normal". Another reason is that the show seems so redundant. There isn't anything different from the previous seasons except location and the different photo shoots which is already expected to change. I think that Tyra should think about changing things up and giving the show a twist that no one would expect. Nothing is wrong with change. Unless you go by the saying "If it's not broke, don't try to fix it". Tell me what you think.
